Wednesday NBA Bullet Points
Sacramento -4 vs Denver (202)
This is already the 2nd time this young regular season that these two clubs have played each other. The Kings won AT Denver (110-105) as 6.5 pt dogs on Monday. That was both teams last game they played (on Monday). The Kings have won 3 straight games (Portland, Clipps, Denver) since getting boat-raced by Golden St on opening night. The Nuggets return home after tonight to take on LeBron and the Cavs on Friday night. This is a quick 1 game home-stand for the Kings tonight, as they head back out on the road for a 4 game roadie that begins AT Phoenix on Friday. The OVER is (4-1 L/5) Nugget games off a SU loss. The OVER has cashed 4 times in the L/5 meetings between these two clubs when playing AT Sacramento & the Nuggets have covered 6 of the L/8 AT Sacramento. The ‘very early sharp money’ is backing the Kings here & I do agree with the Kings side, myself.
Phoenix -1.5 vs Memphis (193)
The Grizz were (4-0 SU & ATS) last year vs Phoenix. They dominated the Suns on the boards in all 4 games. Phoenix is back home off a quick 2 game roadie & are coming off a (112-106) win AT the Lakers last night as 6 pt favs. The Grizz are (4-0) for the 1st time in franchise history & are coming off a (93-81) home win over New Orleans as 4 pt favs on Monday. Tonight is the Grizzlies 1st game of their 3 game roadie, and the Grizz are allowing an NBA best 85 ppg. The UNDER has cashed in 6 straight times when these teams play each other. The UNDER is (5-1 L/6) games when the Suns are on ZERO days rest. Memphis SG Courtney Lee missed the last 2 games (mild concussion) and he is expected to play tonight. The ‘very early sharp money’ is on the UNDER & I lean to the Grizzlies in this spot.
Orlando -3 AT Philadelphia (195)
Orlando was (3-1 SU & 4-0 ATS) last season vs Philly. They dominated the Sixers on the boards in 3 of those 4 games. The 76ers are playing their 3rd game of a 4 game home-stand and are coming off a (104-93) loss to the Rockets on Monday (covering by a half point). The Magic are in a back to back spot here tonight. They lost AT the Bulls last night (98-90) as 10 pt dogs (both Rose & Noah) did not play for Chicago, however. The Sixers are (5-0 ATS L/5) games following a double digit HOME loss. The UNDER has cashed in 7 of the L/8 meetings between these two clubs. The ‘very early money’ came in on the Orlando side here (I expect some late(r) money to come in on the ‘home dog’ here at +3.5). I have a slight lean to Orlando laying 3 pts or less.
