NBA Pick
Matt Rivers of OffshoreInsiders.com says that the NBA pick Wednesday is on the Atlanta Hawks +3.
It’s not a boatload of points on the road so in order to back this dog I do need to believe they will win but I do believe that the visitors from Hotlanta will get the job done. Memphis is a nice little up and coming team as we saw last season. OJ Mayo, Rudy Gay, Zach Randolph and a few others are quality pieces and the team should be around that .500 mark this season. But the Grizz will probably be without Marc Gasol here and are up against what has now become an experienced veteran Hawks club.
Mike Woodson was given the heave ho and now it’s long-time assistant Larry Drew’s turn. I’m not sure if the coach is going to be better than his predecessor as 53 wins and a first round playoff win isn’t too shabby but all in all the Hawks are a talented team that is another season together. Joe Johnson is the star along with an extremely athletic Josh Smith plus a budding stud in the middle in Al Horford and one of the bench players around in Jamal Crawford. The Hawks have had problems reaching elite status because they elitethat but they are still superior to the Grizzlies and they boast the better everything tonight.
This game should be one of the funner games in the league tonight as there is a ton of young talent on the court and we could see some points and highlite dunks but in the end to get anything with Atlanta, even if a small handful, is fine with me.
The pick: Atlanta Hawks +3
