Craig Davis may be in a hole lately, but on that pick alone you cant really judge him as it does have some solid edges you know the fact that the Tigers are 7-26 last 33 meeting at the Angels, and 0-7 last 7 when Verlander is an underdog
Not sticking up for Davis,but dont start bad mouthing a pick before its over, and from what I have seen on this thread and others is that Craig Davis is a reaosonable capper, but by all means start the fade thread just do it in a better fashion than calling a game in the 1st inning, remember a win or loss is only decided when the game is over, although I am a Tigers fan I can see why he backed the angels:drink:

I am not sure if you read and took what I wrote wrong, I was not siding with Davis....I was saying do not call a game in the 1st inning, its 4-2 now, nobody is taking Davis side, you really took that a bit personal getting defensive over something and trying to build it into something thats not there

OK I agree with that its not a huge 40 dimer....has some solid angles but you are correct it is not worthy of a 40 dime play
:toast: I am surprised I did not see more solid plays on the Reds today with Lilly being 1-5 with a 5.24 ERA lifetime against the reds including 0-4 with an 8.15 ERA last year against them and the reds have come out somewhat strong to start the season with all these road wins
