The Pacers continue to play hard, even when missing their
key players. That's a bit of a tribute to the strong coaching.
HC Jim O'Brien suspended forward Solomon Jones for his
deemed "conduct detrimental to the team." He's no great
loss, but it sends a message to the team that letahargic
behavior will not be tolerated. The Pacers were destroyed
at home by the Sunshine Boys at the end of January in a
118 to 96 home embarrassment. The Pacers will be well
motivated by O'Brien to avoid another shelling, and should
be very competive. This team can score, and with LA off
a very BIG home win vs their biggest threat in the West the
Nuggets (that was an especially big win as Denver had
taken the last 2 in the series with LA), we like the set-up
here for the big underdog.
