Today's picks:
NBA:
1-star (709) Chicago Bulls -3 over MILWAUKEE BUCKS. 8:00pm ET. Again I like to play on situations more than anything in the NBA. While the Bulls are playing on back-to-back nights, it's a very short trip up to Milwaukee (several thousand Bulls fans are always in attendance) and they've owned the Bucks in this building winning 9 of the last 10 in the regular season. They also delivered a vicious 120-66 beating over the Bucks here last year in the playoffs closing out the series. The Bulls after a season-high 6 straight wins, have lost back-to-back games and were embarrassed last night as a home favorite against Washington. They did see the return of Joakim Noah who had missed the previous 9 games. As expected, he was a little rusty but should better off tonight. With 12 of their next 15 games on the road the Bulls need a feel-good win here and I think they get it against a team they've owned.
College Basketball:
1-star (746) KANSAS STATE -3.5 over Texas Tech. 8:00pm ET. Kansas State has won 10 of the last 11 meetings but comes into this contest on a 3-game losing streak (covered in all 3 games). They are 9-2 ATS this year and are 7-1 at home and have games against Top 25 Baylor and Iowa State on deck so they desperately need a win here. On the other side, Texas Tech actually looked like they had a solid cover for us on Saturday Night as they were tied with the No. 1 Jayhawks in the middle of the second half. However, they gave up the final 4 points in the closing 20 seconds to lose by 10 (were getting 7.5) and now after an emotionally charged home game are on the road just a couple of nights later. Two similarly talented teams and we think the home court is the deciding factor.
Leans:
(720) NORTHWESTERN -1.5 over Wisconsin. 7:00pm ET.
(739) George Washington -6 over MASSACHUSETTS. 7:00pm ET.
(742) WEST VIRGINIA +2 over Kansas. 7:00pm ET.
(744) VIRGINIA -5 over Miami, Fl. 7:00pm ET.
(748) DAYTON -7 over Davidson. 8:00pm ET.
