Morehead State was horrible early in the season, but the Eagles starting playing much better when junior transfer point guard Brandon Shingles was inserted into the starting lineup on January 8th after he missed the first 9 games and played from off the bench for 5 games after that. Shingles is good at running the offense and finding the open man (4.3 assists per game as a starter). Shingles also has made 51% of his shots, which is great for a guard and the Eagles have been underrated the last half of the season. Morehead State is 11-3 ATS in their last 14 games and I favor the Eagles by 4 1/2 points over Alabama State tonight (with a predicted total of 128 1/2 points). I'll lean with Morehead State at -3 or less.
