Now that we are a game into the series and they've felt each other out a bit I think the pace will pick up a bit tonight. The Detroit Pistons have been scoring a lot better in the playoffs than they did the other night and I expect them to get a little closer to their average tonight. I'm thinking like 94-86 Boston or so and see it coming in right around 180 which is quite a bit over the total set by the linesmakers for this one. Before the first game only 2 of Detroit's playoff games would have fallen below this number.

The Washington Mystics have gone over the total in eighteen of their last 26 road games. The last ten times the Washington Mystics have met up with the New York Liberty the games have gone over the total. For whatever reason when these two teams get together they just always seem to light it up and play high scoring games. While both teams have seen games go under so far in the young season, almost none of their past matchups would have gone under this number. This number is too low and it should go over.

When the total is 8 to 8.5 the LA Angels have gone under 12 out of 16 times. In night games the Angels have gone under about 70% of the time. Toronto has gone under 30 out of 45 games so far. Ervin Santana's games have gone under 87% of the time this year. AJ Burnett's games have gone under 67% of the time. Every trend points to the under here in this game. Burnett is starting to pitch like the Blue Jays thought they would when they got him a few years ago

Interesting take on home ice - I agree with it - I was liking the over in game 1 giving ther Pens O the nod until Detroit D figures em out! Plus, the Igloo has been mighty nice to the Pens !!!!!
