Over is 13-6 so far in second round, after unders dominated in first round; favorites are 12-7 in this round.

Atlanta scored 103-100 points in its series wins, making 51-49% from floor, scored 73-82-83 points in two losses, shooting 43-43-48% in its losses. Chicago was +19/+13/+4 on boards in its three wins- rebounds were even in Atlanta's two wins. Hard to take Atlanta because their last four losses were all by double figure margins. Hawks are just 6-29 from arc in last three games; their home court edge isn't as great as some other clubs in league. Interesting to see if Atlanta can force a Game 7.

OffshoreInsiders.com Senior Sports Handicapper Matt Rivers has a Thursday winner is on the Yankees (-1.5 +100)
Reasoning: Ivan Nova continues to be a really solid hurler and to not lay much besides that extra run and a half is fine with me. Nova has impressed me ever since that first start last season in Toronto where he loaded the bases in the first inning and found his way out of it. This kid is not great but he is pretty good and at home against the Royals should be more than enough.
Kansas City has had a better than expected first month plus, including the extra inning win yesterday, as Billy Butler and Alex Gordon are not bad at all but it’s still the big bad Yankees at home against the Kansas City Royals with a mediocre guy in Sean O’Sullivan. To get Arod, Jeter, Tex, Cano, Swisher and the rest of the Bronx Bombers here flat out cashes the ticket a lot more than it doesn’t. Obviously being at home could eliminate an at bat which is tough at times when laying that extra run plus but I just do not see KC being able to truly compete in this thing. If they do and only lose by a run then so be it, I pretty much can never lay around $2 so to be able to play the run-line is the way to go.
Expect Nova to do his thing for about six innings and in the end the Yankees bats get some knocks in and win in the range of 6-2.
Top expert pick on this game: NY Yankees on the runline

WUNDERDOG (MLB)
1 OF 5

Game: St. Louis at Chicago Cubs (2:20 PM Eastern)
Pick: Chicago Cubs +145 (moneyline)

Jaime Garcia has become a quality big league pitcher in a short time. He is off to a superb 4-0 start backed by a 1.99 ERA. The problem for the Cardinals is a bullpen that can't hold a lead once he departs a game, and has already been responsible for three losses in his seven starts. The Cards' pen has allowed 13 runs in the 14.67 innings Garcia could not finish, for an ERA of 7.98 after he leaves, opening the door for trouble. The Cubs have something else going for them as they have been at their best when facing a lefthander, where they are now 12-4 in their last 16.
Take the Cubs here.
WOW!!!!
