When you see 65% of the team on a dog, you have to be a bit weary about it. And, Portland still is a very tough team at home with a Brandon Roy that is playing. The last time this team got drilled in a ballgame in Phoenix they came back to win it at home. For example, in Game two, this team lost 89-108, then in Game four, this team came back home to win 96-87 when no one expected them to. Then, recently, in Game five, they got drilled 88-107 and now they return once again. I do think Phoenix wins this series and rolls on, but I do think Portland steps up at home today similar to how the Nuggets stepped up at home yesterday on their home floor against the Jazz when the odds were stacked against them. I expect Portland to win this game in a tight contest and then Phoenix to likely run away with Game seven. Roy played 26 minutes in the win against Portland at home and about 20 minutes in the blowout loss in Phoenix. I expect him to play another 25 minutes or so today, and Portland is still a very difficult place to play. Look for this game to also dip under as well as Portland steps up their defensive intensity, but I do like them to hang in there and then to pull ahead late. The Blazers are 5-1 ATS following a straight up loss and 14-3 ATS after giving up a 100 points in their previous game such as their last contest against Phoenix.
