Todays Matchup:
Cleveland Indians vs. Kansas City Royals
Josh Tomlin (R) vs. Sean O'Sullivan (R)

Justin Masterson pitched a great game yesterday as predicted, getting off to a shaky start giving up 2 ER's in the first but recovering
nicely holding the Royals scoreless the rest of his appearance. It wasnt until Shin-Soo Choo's 2 out double in the 6th that we took the
3-2 lead. I predicted that Choo would be a factor in yesterdays game as he has batted well previously against SP Hochevar. Well Today it looks
like more of the same! We have another young pitcher in Josh Tomlin who is sporting a Killer 2.75 ERA and a perfect 3-0 record coming
into tonights contest. He has pitched 19 2/3 innings this year and has given up just 6 runs and 12 hits total during that span.
Manager Manny Acta about Tomlin "He doesn't let the game speed up on him, He's very good at damage control when he gets in those types of situations.
That's the difference between him and some other guys." The Royals counter this time with SP Sean O'Sullivan who comes in at 1-1 with a
5.00 Era on the year. Note that his 1 win was against the Mariners who are currently the worst batting team in MLB. Last year vs the Indians SP
O'Sullivan was 1-1 with a 6.30 ERA in two starts against the Indians last season. The Indians are averaging 6.30 RPG this year so you can see
where Im going with this. Look for the Indians to jump on O'Sullivan early and not fall behind like they did early in yesterdays contest. This one should
be a wire to wire. Note the Indians are 8-2 in night games this year. We are a perfect 5-0 when playing on or against the Indians this year, and in yesterdays
write-up I talked about the great value we have been getting when backing the Indians at .+135, -108, -130, +105 - More of the same today as the Bookies
have the wrong team favored here. If the Books want to give us extra money lets take it at the +100!! THE OWAD IS THE CLEVELAND INDIANS

Todays Matchup:
Oakland A's vs. Seattle Mariners
Brandon McCarthy (R) vs. Felix Hernandez (R)

This selection may have some of you scratching your heads as yesterday we lost a close one yesterday on the Mariners. I kind of scratched my head at how Mariners Coach Eric Wedge left an unexperienced rookie to bat who was hitless with the game on the line and a RISP but thats water under the bridge. Its a new day and King Felix gets the call for Seattle. SP Hernandez has not looked good since his opening day debut vs this same A's team on the road in a game on which he won 6-2. In that game he pitched a complete game, starting slow giving up a 2 run shot in the first and not looking back the rest of the way as he held the A's scoreless. 3 of his 4 starts have been on the road and both of his losses came against good teams the Rangers and Royals, he recieved the No Decision in a win vs the Bluejays., and after that Blue Jays game he is sporting an ugly home 10.50 ERA, but Note last year his Home ERA was an excellent 2.06. So I believe it would be safe to say that the Toronto game was a fluke to say the least. "It will be fine," Hernandez said. "It's just the beginning of the season. We're trying hard. We're trying to do the best we can. We've just got to keep working hard, just keep trying to hit and pitch. That's all we can do."
The A's Counter with SP Brandon McCarthy who has an ERA of 2.45 but a 1-2 record. Note McCarthy is 1-1 with a 6.93 ERA in five starts versus Seattle. Ichiro Suzuki is 4 for 15 against him and Chone Figgins 5 for 10. Suzuki was 5 for 12 in the season-opening series. He's batting .358 during a 16-game hitting streak against the A's, who own the majors' best ERA at 2.58. Mariners get the $ tonight. 5* BEST BET ON THE SEATTLE MARINERS

Todays Matchup:
Dallas Mavericks vs Portland Trailblazers
Underdogs have been on an incredible run as many games have come down to the wire in this years NBA playoffs. The Mavericks have jumped out to an early
2-0 lead in this series and now head to the Rose Garden to face the Trailblazers in game 3 of this best of 7 series. During the Regular season these 2 teams split
out, each winning on 2 games apiece on their home courts respectively. Portland is 30-11 this season at the Rose Garden, winning 10 of their last 11.
Overall against Dallas, the Blazers have a 46-18 advantage at home in the regular season, and they're 6-1 in playoff games at home. An angle that supports our play
is that Portland is 6-1 ATS this year in Home games when the posted total is between 185 and 189.5. Todays game qualifies for this as the total currently sits at 186.
Note that even during the 2 losses at Dallas Lamarcus Aldridge averaged 25.5 PPG and 8 Reb, and Andre Miller has averaged 18.0 PPG so far. The Coach limited
Brandon Roy in his first two games and Roy now has something to prove as his coach said that Dallas was defending him too well. Roy took it as a slight and I predict
will "shoot the lights out" tonight in front of the home crowd. "We will protect home! We know yall are with us," Wesley Matthews posted on Twitter. This is
a MUST WIN GAME for the Trailblazers. 5* BEST BET - PORTLAND TRAILBLAZERS

Indiana (+4') for 1.5 Units

The Pacers found a way to break the Bulls' stingy defense and should continue to give it trouble at their comfortable confines where they averaged 103 ppg. The Pacers have a nice blend of offensive talent and will not miss Collison (ankle) as much as first thought. A.J. Price and T.J. Ford have the elusiveness with dribble penetration to collapse the heart of the Bulls defense then kick out to the soft touch of Pacers' shooters, including Granger, Dunleavy or even Hansbrough and Foster midrange. Pacers' HC Vogel has done a nice job in prepping the Pacers especially offensively, and we'll look for a confident game from Indiana tonight. Pacers covered 5 of their last 7 at home against teams with winning road records, including the outright OT win March 18th. Pacers the call.

Indians Vs. Royals @8:10PM Eastern Standard
#968 - Kansas City Royals +105

This maybe the biggest game for the Royals as they battle for first place in the Central in the last decade. The Indians are ready to get out of dodge as they have 1st place still in tact and the series edge 2-1. Their bags are packed for a series starting in Minnesota tomorrow against the Twins. We also have some weather brewing, and that is the death for road teams, specially those ready to get out of town. The sitting and waiting is just an absolute leak in the boat for a road team. This game didn't make the cut to be a premium selection, but there is value here -- and it's definitely worth taking a look at.
