triple-dime bet 705 MIA 9.0 (-110) SportBet vs 706 DEN
Analysis:
*** NBA on TNT 3* BEST BET OF THE DAYŸ ***

This is the Late NBA on TNT Match-Up...And the books are expecting plenty of money to continue being bet on Denver...We've already seen CRIS, SPORTSBOOK.com, ect...move to 9 because of all that action...and the only reason the rest haven't, is because they know the Wiseguys like MIAMI...But even so, the public money should force the adjustment, and by waiting until much closer to tip-off...we may end up with an even better number...VR

double-dime bet 702 SAN -1.0 (-110) Bodog vs 701 BOS
Analysis:
** NBA on TNT 2* TOP PLAY OF THE DAY **

BETUS is using PK !!

Bottom Line..."Value"...and that's exactly what we are getting by backing the Spurs at home tonight, in more or less a pick'em spot...And the reason for this is that the Celtics have won 5 straight games, and have covered their L/3...And more importantly, have had plenty of success on the road overall this year...and also historically at SA...

But tonight, the situation is much different...The Spurs have also won 5 straight and are playing their best basketball of the season...Although they are only 9-6 overall this season...they are 80% SU at home (8-2)...Which means that we have to give even more weight to their Home Court Edge...

And let's not forget...the L/3 times that Boston came to town...they were getting +3.5, +4.5, & +13...So we are surely getting some line value here...

But more importantly, the Celtics are plauing their 3rd straight road game...While the Spurs have been resting up, having not played since Sunday...And you can be sure that they've had some time to plan for tonight's "Prime-Time" TNT game...Look a little deeper, and you will find that the Spurs have ONLY played "2" Road Games since NOV 6th...Which is why they've also been playing their best ball...Because being home like that allows for extra practice, and extra rest...And we know how difficult the Spurs can be to defeat when they have those 2 things going for them...being an older ball club...

So let's go ahead and back the Spurs in the 1st Game of Tonight's TNT Coverage...and make it the To‹p NBA Play of the Day...VR (We may also be taking a position on the 2nd TNT Match-up...If so, it will be included in tonight's "All-Access" Pass)...

9:00pm - Oregon State/Oregon; This game we do find a bit tempting. Odds makers may be a bit off here. But after the big wins on Monday night and again last night, best to just tread lightly here on this game and pick a better spot to pounce later on in the week. Close to 70% of the bets coming in now are on the ducks, we think they're wrong. A.B.A.T.S. has this much closer, plus simulations do not weigh that heavily in Oregon's favor. The Oregon States "D" has been tighter than a crabs asshole and Oregon may get a bit of a test here. 11 points is a lot to give a team that is ranked at near the end of the season in the top 20. WE think the beavers continue to gnaw at the Ducks tonight and keep this one close. Play Oregon State + 11

1* Denver -9 over Miami . Going to try to build on last night's 7-1 night. Denver is pouring in the offense right now. They have put up 122 ppg in their last 4 games and have averaged 117 ppg at home this year. Revenge game for the Nuggets here as Miami beat Denver about a month ago. Miami held Denver to a season low 86 points in that one. Miami can't trade points with Denver and cover so look for them to try to muck up the game and once again keep it below 100 points for each team. They were successful with that strategy in Miami but not this time in Denver. Denver is a 3rd quarter team this year as they have averaged 5 pts more than their opponent in this quarter . Look for them to come out after halftime and put this game away.

My pick tonight

$300.00 Take #301 New York Jets (-3) over Buffalo (8 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 3)
I don’t think that the Bills are happy about having to play in Toronto and they completely lose their homefield advantage in this game. The Jets dominated Buffalo in the first meeting but were done in by costly turnovers. They are the stronger team and a solid revenge spot for New York. The visiting team has won five of seven in this series outright and I think that the Jets build off a solid win over Carolina last week.

best to all

Oregon State +9.5 over Oregon
The road team has won the civil war in the past few years and this year both teams are evenly talented. Oregon has a great rushing game while Oregon State has a great passing game. On defense Oregon has a good pass defense and Oregon State has a good run defense. Something has to give tonight. The only advantage is home field and this series has proven that trend does not mean much. This line is over inflated. Both teams have done good at protecting the ball over the past few weeks and this game is going to come down to who wants it more. Look for a close game coming down to the last drive. The winner takes all the marbles in the PAC 10. Take Oregon State and the points.

Jets -3 over Bills
Both teams played just a few weeks ago resulting in a Bills OT victory. Saying the Jets handed the Bills the game would be an understatement. Thomas Jones had over 200 yards rushing, but the Jets turned the ball over 6 times beating themselves. This game is being played in Toronto. There is talk about the Bills moving to Toronto if they are sold. This game will be played on turf and again I do not see the Bills stopping the Jets run game on a fast surface. When the Jets do pass they will be going against a very banged up Bills Secondary. I just do not see how the Bills are going to score much on offense tonight. The Jets can blitz just about as well as any team in the league. The Bills offensive line is a mess and Revis should be able to contain T.O when Fitzpatrick tries to air it out. This is a must win for both teams. The Jets have more talent and will out of the playoff race with a loss tonight. Look for the Jets to run, run and run some more. Rex Ryan will not allow Sanchez to turn the ball over. This will be Rex Ryan football with tough defense and a physical running attack. Take the Jets.

5 Unit Play. #8 Take Central Michigan -13 over Ohio U (Friday 8 pm ESPN 2) This will be the second to last game QB LeFevour plays for the Chippewas. He will get a chance to play on Sundays because he is that good. But the quarterback position is not the only strength of this team, as the Chippewas have a balanced attack. True NIU and Toledo did put up points against them, but that came when the game was already out of reach. As for Ohio, they are a well coached team, but not as strong as their record would indicate. They were outgained in wins over NIU and Buffalo and enter this game in Detroit with QB Scott and RB Garrett questionable. I do expect them to play since this game has great importance but they will not be at full strength.
Look for the Chippewas to make a statement that they are far and away the best team in the MAC. QB LeFevour shines and so do the Chips, as they win this game going away and likely will return to Detroit for the Pizza Pizza Bowl. CMU 42, Ohio U 17.
4 Unit Play. #14 Take Illinois -3 over Fresno State (Saturday 12:30 pm Big Ten Network) The Illini had one of the most disappointing seasons in the country and they never seemed to recover from the opening loss to Missouri. As for Fresno, they have played competitive at times, but the bottom teams from the WAC have helped make their record misleading. In a high scoring affair, look for the Illini to send their seniors off with a victory. QB Williams will be playing his final game of his career and this will be a chance to showcase his abilities. I was surprised that Illinois will retain Coach Zook, but that is the case and the underclassmen know they better perform. Illinois needs this game to gain momentum for next year and the cold weather will help them, as the homer gets the call. Illinois 38, Fresno State 21.
4 Unit Play. #24 Take Rutgers -1 over West Virginia (Saturday 12 pm ESPN) The Scarlet Knights are catching West Virginia at the perfect time, as the Mountaineers are coming off two big emotional games against Cincinnati and Pittsburgh. Defense will be the difference in this game as the Knights have the personnel to shut down West Virginia.
Rutgers has lost 14 straight against WVU. However, the Knights have four straight senior day games. Something has to give in this contest, but I always like to side with the home team. The 14-game losing streak will end in New Brunswick on Saturday. Rutgers 20, WVO 17.
4 Unit Play. #26 Take Washington +7 over California (Saturday 6:30 pm FSN) What a job Coach Sarkisian has done with this Huskies program. The team still lacks depth but under his leadership look for good things to come in the years ahead. QB Locker has played well this season and their shutout win last week against Washington State will give them a lot of confidence entering this game.
The Golden Bears have been up and down all year. They will play in a bowl game but I do not see any reason that they will be up for this game. The Huskies will not be going bowling and expect them to give an all-out effort in order to build momentum for 2010. I will call the straight-up victory. Washington 31, Cal 28.

4 Unit Play. #34 Take Under 41 ½ in Florida vs. Alabama (Saturday 4 pm CBS) Both teams have outstanding defense and I really question just how good the Tide are on offense. Scoring over 14 points may be very difficult for them. As for the Gators, their offense is loaded but this will be the best defense that they face in 2009. In championship games, usually teams test the water early which leads to less points being scored. The game last year was low scoring until Florida broke out in the fourth quarter, but I do not see that happening this season. All this leads me to believe that the total score will be kept in the low thirties. Florida 17, Alabama 14.
4 Unit Play. #6 Take Over 37 in New York @ Buffalo (Thursday 8:20 pm NFL Network) A very weak game takes place on Thursday night between two New York teams that will not be making the playoffs. This game does offer a little in intrigue since it is being played in Toronto. Buffalo is coming off their best performance of the season, putting up 31 points against the Miami Dolphins, a team that has already beaten the NY Jets twice this season. Both teams are susceptible to giving up big plays to the defense and I expect the combined score to be in the forties. This game will be played under perfect conditions in the Rogers Center and this will greatly benefit the offense. We will not worry about who wins this game and just collect with the over. NY Jets 24, Buffalo 20.
5 Unit Play. #45 Take Tennessee +7 over Indianapolis (Sunday 1 pm CBS) NFL Game of the Year. The Titans just win football games when QB Young is behind center. They will enter having won five straight games and have allowed 17 points or less in four of those five games. Now they face the 11-0 Colts, who have been the comeback kids of late. I believe that their luck will run out today, since the Titans are very familiar with them and have a strong defense that can contain QB Manning. The Colts are really banged up on defense with injuries to Sanders (out), Freeney (questionable), Francisco (doubtful), and Dawson (doubtful) all injured. The Titans still need to win if they have any chance of making the playoffs and that is just not the case with Indy. They have already clinched the AFC South and have all but locked up the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Indy has come back to win five straight games, so that tells you that they have not been blowing out opponents. RB Johnson is unstoppable once he gets to the corner and this will allow the Titans to control the football and take this one down to the wire. Tennessee and QB Young win again and we collect in the process as well. Tennessee 28, Indy 27.
4 Unit Play. #54 Take Washington +10 over New Orleans (Sunday 1 pm Fox) The Redskins are catching the Saints at just the right moment, as they are coming off a big win on Monday Night against New England. The Saints must play Atlanta and Dallas after Washington and I question that they will be able to cover this big of a number on the road. The Saints still have a lot of injuries on defense and I believe that this will eventually catch up with them. It did not last Monday but it will on a short week on Sunday. New Orleans 27, Washington 23.
