These plays fall into scoops home team giving points or receiving under 5 points when playing against a ranked appointed. I personally talked to scoop and he loves these 3 plays....He is 14-5 this years on SP.

This is a wager that I had already more or less decided to make back on Tuesday Night, as I watched Vancouver get beat at home by the Devils...The reason for that is because I knew that next game, the Canucks would have their "Ace" back, Luongo who was playing some of his best hockey ever, prior to the injury he suffered back in November vs Pitt...
Vancouver has now lost 5 straight home games, and the first 3 of this 5 game home stand...Well, it's been "30" Years since this franchise has lost 6 straight at home...and although you all know that I am not a real trend bettor...it's one of those instances where it does make a lot of sense...
More importantly, Tonight they face a team who is now only a few points behind them in the Wset...and even though they vowed to come out with urgency vs NJ...watching that game, it became apparent when Vancouver allowed a few goals immediately that this would not be their night...
Now though, like I said they get their main guy back...and it should be just the kind of spark, this team really needs right now...and since this one is at home, I expect the atmosphere to be over-whelming for Phoenix, a team who has never done well against Vancouver, especially on the road where they have lost "12 of 14" vs the Canucks...
And although my "Projected Final" shows that we could very well lay the -175 on the ML...I fear that the "sharps" will get involved in this one, and force the line to move even higher...And therefore, I have no problem laying 1/2 goal and backing the home team tonight...
Sure Vancouver has a big advantage statistically playing at home vs Phoenix...and Luongo had a SAVE % of "96" at home before going done...but I can't stress enough that this wager is really based more on all the circumstances surrounding the game...And as a handicapper, it's one of those instances where experience and feel point to a domination tonight by Vancouver...

Rhode Island has had trouble with that type of team, as they like to run up-and-down the floor. Providence and Villanova put the clamps on that style and held the Rams to 65 points in both games. I see a similar situation facing them here. The X-men have held 10 of 14 teams to 66 or less. The Rams are now 4-0 to the UNDER against the good teams that have a winning percentage of .600 or higher. I like this one to fall short of the total and will back the UNDER.
