JB, I don't have an exact science system per say like the "pros". I use this forum to see what the touts are on. I use ESPN Streak for the Cash. And I use Wagerline.com.
If too many touts are on one play, I stay away or occasionally fade depending on wagerline consensus or ESPN. For instance...today, Budin and every other tout had Nova. Wagerline showed 72% or so on Nova and ESPN SFTC had even higher percentage on Nova so I took Marquette.
1) Basically, take note of the 65% or greater consensus plays on wagerline. Compare them to the touts. If there are a few touts on a dog that the public is all over the favorite....Pound that dog!
2) Fade all ESPN SFTC 65% or greater plays. No questions asked.
3) Find any consensus plays on wagerline that show the public taking the dog or the under and go large on the favorite or over. Public loves to take favs and overs. If for some reason they step out of the norm, kill em.
That is about it.
