ANALYSIS: The Golden Flashes have been playing much better offense in the second have of the conference schedule. They have had an offensive efficiency >0.99 in nine out of the last ten averaging almost 70 ppg. Part of this offensive boost is due to an unexpected late-season offensive boost from Mincy, who previously was thought of as a distributor and defender. Since a team meeting following a loss at Akron on Jan. 24, Mincy has scored 42 field goals in 10 games, including 16-of-28 from 3-point range. He has had high scoring games of 27, 19, 14, and 13 points. The Bulls last three games have been very up-tempo and we should get a pretty good pace here with these teams #2 and #3 in the MAC Conference in tempo/pace.

ANALYSIS: This is a meeting of the top two defenses in the A10 as well as the 12th and 14th ranked teams in defensive efficiency. The Musketeer defense has come on strong in the last four games holding opponents to 37.4% from the field and an average of 56.3 ppg. "We got our nastiness back on defense. Like I said last game, I think we're taking a step in the right direction, and we're going back to what our identity was." -- Senior swingman B.J. Raymond. The one weakness with the Flyers is that their offense has been a little inconsistent this season and particularly when on the road. The Flyers face three opponents with better than average defenses (St. Louis, Creighton and Akron) on the road this season and failed to shoot 40% in any game and did not break 60 points in any game.
