I'm playing the Under between the Steelers & Titans on Sunday. Not exactly going out on a limb when I say that both teams will look to establish their ground attack in this one. HC Mike Tomlin decided to take the pressure off Dennis Dixon last week and played run-first, smashmouth football. And of course, Tennessee let RB Chris Johnson loose all day against the Raiders. Pittsburgh must establish the run and stick with it again this week to give them their best chance to win. Dixon will start, but we may also see Byron Leftwich, who did practice this week. Expect plenty of opportunities for Rashard Mendenhall. Tennessee will send Chris Johnson at a Steeler defense that just shut down Michael Turner. And remember, the Steelers have allowed just three 100-yard rushers since the 2006 season. And except for Johnson and his o-line's run-blocking, I'm just not sold on the Titan offense yet. One final note on Pittsburgh -- they finished with just 14 first downs last weekend. I doubt very much they'll be able to put together sustained drives against the Titans. Week-two has produced a lot of Unders in games with totals set under 40 over the last several seasons. In fact, Pittsburgh has gone Under in each of their last five seasons in week-two, while the Titans are on a 10-3 Under run in this situation. I believe we'll see another low scoring game on Sunday and I'm playing the Under between the Steelers and Titans. Thanks! GL! Scott.
