NFL BLOWOUT OF THE MONTH - Green Bay...... The Green Bay Packers, off an impressive 27-20 road win over the Philadelphia Eagles, now return home to face the hapless Buffalo Bills (0-1). It must be noted, the Pack led the Eagles 27-10 before backup quarterback Michael Vick rallied the hosts. Green Bay did have difficulties controlling Vick when he broke from the pocket but that won't be a problem this week as Buffalo quarterback Trent Edwards won't scare anyone with his less-than-impressive scrambling ability. It's doubtful the Bills mediocre attack can match points with the Packers who may own the best offense in the league. Last week Buffalo fell at home to Miami 15-10, generating just 9 first downs and a paltry 166 total yards! Green Bay's top notch wide receivers Greg Jennings and Donald Driver get most of the ink, but super signal-caller Aaron Rodgers also has another weapon in massive (6' 5", 247 lbs) tight end Jermichael Finley who is too big for defensive backs and too quick for linebackers. The only way to control Aaron Rodgers (64.7%, 4,434 yards, 30-7 td/int ratio, 103.2 qb rating) is to pressure him with a big pass rush, something the Bills lack. Top Packer running back Ryan Grant will miss this game with a severe ankle injury but the Pack has a adequate replacement in Brandon Jackson (63 yards last week) who was a second round pick in 2007. Green Bay has scored 27 points or more in seven of it's last eight games while the Bills have AVERAGED 14.1 ppg OVER their last 15 games. The Packers went 3-0 last year as a double digit chalk, winning those games by an average score of 36-7. Again here. Play Green Bay
