In day games this year, San Francisco is just 5-6 while Washington is 6-4. Matt Cain has been good this year, but below average in his last three starts (4.86 ERA). Jordan Zimmermann has posted a 3.93 ERA in his three home starts. Cain hasn't been able to take advantage of poor hitting teams like Washington as he is 11-22 in his last 33 starts vs. NL teams with a .250 or worse batting average. Washington likes home cooking as they are 36-29 the past two seasons after three straight home games. They are also 34-27 over that span as an underdog.

Boston Celtics +5 over MIAMI HEAT, 10 dimes
Great storyline, great teams, great stars. Could we ask for more from a 2nd round series? Lebron's achilles heel in the playoffs has frequently been the Celtics, as has Wade's. The public seems to be loving Miami at home, but I'm not convinced that Miami has what it takes to beat this playoff tested Boston Squad. Remember how Philadelphia's defense gave Miami trouble? Well, Boston knows defense much more that the young guns of the Sixers, and they already have the recipe for beating the Heat. The men in green have taken 18 out of the last 21 in this head to head series. The Big Three of the Celtics should be just as productive as the Big Three of Miami. Plus, they have a noticeable advantage in the point guard position with Rajon Rondo. Boston's age is of concern here, but after almost a week of rest, taking the 5 points is an easy decision for Chang.
