Is this a big pick? Never heard of this group

He's a clown that used aliases to tout his twitter service. He was banned to the promo section but I guess CPAW is giving him another chance. Hopefully he's grown up a little.,

Lol, you know who that definitely seems true about? Phil Steele, he gives 1 to 3 Bonus Plays per day (no big favorites during baseball season), and has had a very good record over a long period of time. His multitude of paid plays, however, with probably a dozen different names, have, from what I have heard from numerous sources here and elsewhere that I trust, have been strikingly mediocre.

I can't let that remark go unchallenged.
If you are referring to Phil Steele and his football comps., then ok-they have done well.
However the basketball and baseball comps. over the last three plus years have amassed a deficit of MINUS $106,600 as carefully documented by me on another forum-this is based on $1000 for a win and MINUS $1100 for a loss to keep things simple.
Knowing what I do about statistics(which is consderable), this is an accurate, reliable and and valid measure as to how you would have done over the same time frame if you had played their other paid plays because the comps. are actual plays;because of the large sample size involved, they are truly reflective of the real picture of the NC Community Cappers no matter how hard the guys who do the comp. lines try to camouflage that fact and lead you to believe otherwise.
Actually you would have done worse than the figures cited above ,because you would have been playing other actual plays of these guys in addition to the comps.
I realize that this site and others frown on bashing-in this instance, it isn't bashing-its is simply telling it as it is.

As a newbie to the site, why am I permitted to share some of the picks I purchase; however, I am not allowed to post others (i.e., Indian Cowboy)? I am only trying to contribute as others share picks with me.

Below was the filter from "Can'tPickaWinner" from earlier today. I am not sure I understand the rules of engagement. Please advise.

My understanding is that Doc Sports is a sponsor of this site and has requested that none of their cappers picks be posted at this time. It would make good business sense not to upset a sponsor that is contributing to the site.

Honestly, I haven't seen Doc's ad pop-up. Only a bunch of off-shore books. My mistake. Thanks for the clarification. Cheers!

Absolutely get it, but I have only seen a bunch of off-shore book ads. My bad. Thanks for the clarification.

I kept careful records on Phils comps-ALL his comps-about 2 years ago, not separating sports, but if he gave a baseball pick laying -1.25, I'd address the result accordingly. I don't have those results any longer-they were wiped out and I stupidly didn't have it backed up-but I happen to remember the result after 1000 plays, it was easy to do so: 583-417 +130 units. After that, I stopped keeping such careful records, just calling and playing the plays from time to time. I resumed record keeping a few months ago, and I had he at 108-79, and, given the time of year, that's all football(there a few NHL plays and he's been giving SOCCER plays from time to time, fer crissakes). So, I can't speak of the period that you mention, only when I was keeping records.

Ok-to be clear-my record keeping which shows the minus 106,600K over the last three plus years is only for the NC Community Cappers and that is not BS(the football comp. record is kept in separate threads and have done pretty well actually) -I carefully recap the record for the day before and then update the record-I have been doing this for well over five years.
To show the confidence that I have in my record keeping, I have challenged Phil Steele on a number of occasions to prove my figures wrong within a fraction of one percent over the last three plus years to the tune of 6 figures or less if he choose;for obvious reasons he never took my up on this.
These guys NEVER and I mean NEVER even mention losing comps. the next day but ALWAYS mention winning comps.-what does that tell you!

Teddy Covers

4* Washington Huskies +4
3* Miami Heat -3.5

NICE bounceback Sunday for Teddy with a 2-0 sweep!

Yeah he stunk on Saturday no question but he's as honest and forthright a handicapper as there is in the business. Hell he came right out and said "I stunk" on his webcast show Vegas SportsDay the day after a tough night for his clients and didn't hide it at all. Doesn't everyone have losing periods? The point is that he doesn't hide anything. He's a straight shooter and that's rare in this industry.

Why you would keep records for 5 years for somebody who you say is a loser is a question in and of itself, but, be that as it may, your final sentence is an complete and absolute falsehood-I have frequently heard the guy say, "Need to get back on the winning road with the comps, they've lost 3 in a row." Or sometimes they mention that they lost and thus ended a winning streak, so, sorry, you're lying.
