From Rob Longley (sportswriter for a newspaper called the Toronto Sun) in the finals of the BetRepublic.com Handicapping Contest.
He has his contest best bet tonight on the Cowboys -7. This guy has won all his contest best bets and he beat Ted Sevransky last week and Tim Trushel a few rounds back.
The guys he's facing had Houston as his best bet in the contest today.
So the contest best bet is on the Cowboys.

you have to understand the business. They don't have to be good as long
as people keep dialing there numbers or paying for there games online they have you hooked.

they lose they lose but you keep calling hoping they win. Its a nasty
nasty business. You have to understand these guys are marketers and nothing else. They dont care if they win or lose as long as they have you hooked.

You have to find one guy and follow him and take a stand with him or against him. I have a 6 year book on the only guy i will pay for in the industry.

Do some research, look around, call and talk to the companies that represent them and see if they are BS artists or not.

The guy I respect, does no marketing, no one calls, no BS.

tonight i would agree with that ....he wasnt very sharp but it was a very
good game to watch. sorry if you lost your wager it was still a good game
