We have a "smart money" alert. This game opened at Pk and money is flying in on the Vikings. But that's not everything. The smart money is dominating the public bets as there are still 60%+ public betting Arizona and the line is moving in the opposite direction we would normally see. Minnesota is tied for the NFC North lead with the Detroit Lions at 5-4. Both teams have dealt with plenty of injuries, which will also impact Sunday's game. Minnesota QB Sam Bradford should be able to do more than manage the game with his passing. Arizona's injuries have hit hardest in the secondary. Minnesota parted with embattled kicker Blair Walsh. Walsh had only made 75 percent of his field-goal attempts and hit just 78.9 percent of his extra-point attempts. There's nothing more devastating to the morale of a team than losing points and games with a kicker when your entire game plan is set up for your number 1 defense to hold the opponent from scoring while your team claws for a few points here and there. That alone, along with the home field so do wonders. Additionally, Carson Palmer is not the Palmer of yesteryear; especially on the road. I like Coach Zimmer to have this game plan and his team totally prepared to control the pace of this game.

Pinnacle--LA Rams +
Let's do a quick review. Miami is not known for scoring and is up against a very good defense. Tannehill has been hot in this win streak but this is a two week in a row in California. That's a long time to be in the road. Miami is doing their normal road play so far at 1-3. And the oddsmakers opened them at even and the public pushed them to be the favorite. Hummm...That's no reason to bet the Dolphins. Jared Goff makes his much awaited start today. That will have 90,000 fans in a frenzy!!! The players will die on the field to insure his maximum amount of success in his come out game. As for stats this season, throw them away. With Case Keenum this year, the Rams have been held without a touchdown 3 times this season. What a motivation for the Rams defense knowing their efforts count. Los Angeles ranks last in scoring at 15.4 points per game and the Keenum-led offense is 31st in total offense with an average of 308 yards. Todd Gurley needs to move it to "beast mode" and there may be hope for Gurley in this game to get back on track. The Dolphins are 30th in the NFL in rushing yards allowed at 128.8 per contest and with a rookie quarterback getting his first NFL start, the Rams hope Gurley can take advantage. So in conclusion, we have 90,000 fans, Gurley on track, Goff's debut and a great defense playing at home and getting points. ML Bets.
