1000* - LA Angels w/Lackey over Anderson, 500* - Seattle w/Bedard over Laffey
Still not sure how the Angels can be 51-38, while the A's are 38-51, and the Angels are such a small road favorite?!?!?
LA was an 11-6 winner yesterday, as they have now won 9 of their last 12 on the road, and I see no reason to think they won't come through with the confident John Lackey on the hill. Lackey just shut down the Yankees in his last start, to even his mark at 4-4 for the year.
Brett Anderson will oppose, and you cannot seriously think that this guy's 3-0 run with a 0.49 ERA is going to continue this afternoon with the Angels having plated 14 runs already this weekend?
LA is 4-1 the last 5 season meetings with Oakland, and they did beat Anderson back on May 4th. Oakland has dropped 5 of their last 8 overall, and they are dropping this one as well.
Take the Angels.

The M's look to make it 3 in a row over the disappointing Cleveland Indians, and I am all about the Seattle hat trick, as the Mariners most definitely feel they are in the chase in the AL West division. If that is truly the case, they will beat the Tribe who have lost 12 of their last 17.
Cleveland has also dropped 20 of their last 27, and starter Aaron Laffey is just 1-2 with an over 6 ERA his last 3 trips to the mound.
Erik Bedard is 5-2 this year, and the more telling stat is his 2.63 ERA for the year. Don't expect this heartless Cleveland team to get much going off of the Seattle southpaw.
The Mariners are 5-1 the last 6 meetings against the Indians, and the M's have also won 5 of their last 7 to keep themselves within shouting distance in the West.
I am going with Seattle.
