7-0 the last two days!

*300 Houston Astros +120

I look for the Astros to sweep the Tigers today. I have found several trends that says they will. To start we find the Tigers are 9-25 SU since 2004 seson on the road after a loss in which they left 18+ men on base and it is not the first game in a series. Plus we find the Tigers are 3-14 SU since 2007 season on the road vs a team that has won at least their last three games. Here is a nice trend in favor of the Astros. Astros are an amazing 19-5 SU since 2007 season after a win in which the left 18+ men on base and it is not the first game of a series. Take the Home Dogs for the win.

7-0 the last two days!

*200 Los Angeles Angels +121

Today we find the Angels are 34-11 SU since 2005 after a win in which they had 6 or fewer hits. Also i have the Angels are 18-4 since 2006 after a win in which they left fewer than 10 men on base and it is not the first game in a series. We found the D-backs in a terrible spot in that they are 5-13 SU since 2004 season as a home favorite after a loss in which their opponent left fewer than 10 men on base. Take the Away Dogs for a win.

*300 New York Yankees

Wang opened as a -133 favorite and I have sat here and watched that line go to -142. Considering this line movement, and the total dropping under 10 I will take the Yankees to pull off the win today. I predict Wang to have his best game of the year today. Plus we find the Yankees are 13-2 SU since 2007 season after shutting out their opponent.

Giants +140

Jeff Suppan has been very hittable for the Brew Crew this year. He has allowed 98 hits in 81.1 innings this season. He also has been dominated at home with a 1-4 record and 5.74 ERA allowing 41 hits and 20 earned runs. A bad call last night by San Francisco Giants manager Bobby Bochy by not intentionally walking Prince Fielder in the bottom of the 9th inning as Fielder knocked in the game winning run. The Giants have a nice opportunity to capitalize today on a victory with Suppan on the hill against them.
Ryan Sadowski will make his MLB debut today after being called up from AAA-Fresno where he has done well with a 5-2 record and 4.11 ERA. He has held right handed batters to .209 average this year and has progressed through their farm system. He was recommended by the Fresno coaches as being the guy to get the start today as the staff says he is well deserved to get this opportunity. He has three pitches; a fastball, slider, and change up all of which he uses effectively. He isn't overpowering but is a smart young pitcher and we like the value he is receiving here today.

Yankees at Mets
Pick: Mets +122

The Mets take on the Yankees at home for the final game of the Subway Series. The Mets got handled yesterday by AJ Burnett only allowing one hit as the Yankees went on to a 5-0 victory over the Mets. Tonight the Mets will have Livan Hernandez on the hill for them. Hernandez has had a good year 5-2 with a 4.05 ERA. Chein Ming Wang gets the start for the Yankees and he has had a terrible year with a lofty 11.49 ERA this season and has yet to earn a victory as a starter. I look for the Mets to come back with heart after being embarrassed in their own ball park last night and to come out on top tonight, Take the Mets.

Washington Nationals-Lannan vs Baltimore Orioles-Hernandez -139
Event Date: 06/28/2009
Event Time: 01:35 PM EST
Play: Baltimore Orioles-Hernandez -139
Comments: Risking 1.50 to win 1.08

We\'ll take a win any way we can get it. May have been ugly in Chicago yesterday but it still shows up a W in the books. Dempster gave us exactly what we were hoping as he gave up 8 hits with 3 walks and 5 earned runs in only 5 innings of work. For the White Sox, they made some real costly errors and a huge mental mistake by Buehrle, got the Cubbies back in the game and kept them right in there the whole way. We get out of there with the win in the bottom of the 9th and move on to Sunday with some extra money in our pockets.

A nice 6-1 week thus far, so lets close it out and keep this momentum going into next week. This game between Washington and Baltimore is the only one that really stood out when looking over all the matchups. You have a lefty starter in Lannan who is pitching some of his best baseball of the season the past 4 starts and Baltimore who is bringing the kid Hernandez back up from Norfolk to make this start here on Sunday. Doesnt look pretty until we look deeper. Baltimore has played their best ball at home averaging almost 5.5 runs per 9 and nearly 6.5 runs per nine against left handed pitching. While Washington is an horrific 8-26 on the road while averaging only 4 runs per 9 while giving up nearly 6.5 runs per 9. Lannan has struggled away from home this year and more importantly struggles against left handed hitting, which Baltimore has plenty of. Hernandez\' lone start at home this season came against the potent lineup of Detroit and he held them to 1 earned through 5 and 2/3 of an inning. With the price we have here we make this another mid range play on the Baltimore Orioles. Small leans on KC and Over Philly/Tor
