Joe Wiz 1-2 on Saturday but his site says the Bulls won. Poster paid for the premium playoff service and the Bulls weren't a play. Scammer. If he doesn't go 65%-75% in the playoffs poster gets baseball season for free. Scammer. Don't follow him.

How the heck should Orlando be 17 point favorites!? What kind of system do they use to come up with that?

ATLANTA -140 in the series over Miami
FREE analysis
Yes, we realize that the NBA and the TV execs want nothing more than a Miami Heat victory in this series in order to set up a Wade vs. LeBron second round matchup, but the fact is that Atlanta is the more talented, more balanced and more experienced team – we stress the word “team” – in this series. Dwayne Wade may be able to carry his team to one or two wins against Atlanta, but winning four games is a whole other matter, especially since four of the games will be in Atlanta at the Phillips Arena where the Hawks went 30-10 this year.

Last year Atlanta gave the eventual NBA champion Celtics all they could handle in a seven-game series. The Hawks – who return six of their top eight players from last year – and their head coach Mike Woodson gained invaluable experience from that series. Now they go up against a Heat team that has a young roster and young head coach. With All-Star Joe Johnson and veteran Mike Bibby the Hawks have a deeper backcourt and they play the type of defense that can contain Wade. If you saw Wade erupt for 55 the other night against the Knicks he scored the majority of his points going to the rim. Atlanta won’t allow that because it has big and quick defenders and a couple of great shot blockers down low. Look for Al Horford to have his way against the aging Jermaine O’Neal, who hasn’t had the impact the Heat were expecting when they traded for him. The team was 28-24 before the trade and just 15-15 after the deal. What’s more their points per game allowed has gone from 96 to 102 since O’Neal came to town. It’s Joe Johnson’s turn to shine as he’ll carry the Hawks at crunch time.

Take the Hawks –140 in the series.
