MICHIGAN STATE (-7) over Harvard

Harvard is one of the many Cinderella stories of this year's Big Dance, but if you remember last year after upsetting New Mexico in the first round the Crimson went out and got drilled by Arizona, 74-51, as a 10-point dog and we see a similar fate here today. Harvard's win on Thursday was as much about Cincinnati's poor play as it was about how well the Crimson played. The Bearcats were a dismal 36% from the field and were especially bad inside the paint, where they were 13-for-33 with numerous missed lay-ups and dunks. You can be sure Michigan State will do much, much better than that today. Tom Izzo always got the best of Tommy Amaker when we was the head coach at rival Michigan, winning seven of their 10 meetings by an average of 15 points per game. The Spartans have too much size, depth and talent. Lay the short number.
