20 Dime - Fresno State over San Jose State.
Here are two teams where one is getting healthy from injuries and another is having trouble fielding a team! Fresno is the one getting healthy and SJSU has 15 players on the injury list and they weren't deep to begin. They have even discussed having players playing both ways. That's just part of the problem for the Spartans. They are avg only just under 9 ppg and that won't cut it with a healthy Fresno St team. They lost their leading rusher Muldrow for the season last week. They don't even have 50 scholarship athletes available for Saturday. If Fresno wants to put petal to the metal here, and why wouldn't they when these two teams are just a stones throw away from each other, the Bulldogs should easily cover the is line.
10 Dime - San Diego State over New Mexico.
In their 6 games played thus far N. MX has been beaten by an avg of 34 ppg! And they haven't really played a tough schedule. NM has the really bad distinction of being last in two categories you don't even want to be in one of them. They are last in scoring offense and last in scoring defense!! All that adds up to one yucky team. SDSU on the other hand is not. SD has a good scoring attack and against a team that gives up a ton of points 46 a game to be exact. They have scored over 40 against better teams than this lowly team. 3 times to be exact.
5 Dime - Iowa over Wisconsin.
Big spot for a letdown here for the Badgers after a great home win against the #1 team in the country Ohio ST. Now they have to go on the road and face a very strong Iowa team that is more physical and bigger than OSU! In my opinion the Hawkeyes are a better team than OSU. Iowa went on the road last year to beat Wisc. By dbl digits and I see the same thing happening here
