Yankees/Sox parlay is probably the worst bet ever. No offense

A) I would never bet a team going for a 4-game sweep. Those rarely happen, especially to a team that is semi-good.

B) Yankee #'s are always inflated. I would never lay over 200 on those bums. PERIOD. KC has been playing them well.

I don't disagree, but at what point did you come to this conclusion? Maybe when it was 2-0 KC or 3-2 KC in the 9th? If you are paying attention at all you know that a bunch of guys here have the yanks in either a parlay, RL or even ML, why pour salt in the wound?
I stayed way clear too, but I would never kick a man when he was down, unless I caught him screwing my wife.
Show some constraint and humility. Hell, maybe make your point known before the first inning, it might have helped a few.
I hope the YANKS win it in the 9th for all of you guys playing them.

Nice one AZBound. People talk more like they know it all when the game is almost over than before the game starts.

Monday's Plays...

15 Dime –

REDS (With Volquez as listed pitcher)

Take the Reds for the road win over the Marlins tonight.

Edinson Volquez will start for Cincinnati and you don’t need to say much more than that as to why the Reds are the play.

The right-hander has been spectacular for Cincinnati this season, posting an 8-2 record with a 1.32 ERA in 13 games. Volquez has allowed only 49 hits and three homeruns in 75 innings while striking out 91.

The Marlins will counter with Mark Hendrickson, who is 7-3 with a 5.33 ERA on the season. But the left-hander has been knocked around lately, as evidenced by his 11.66 ERA over his last three starts.

Hendrickson is also 0-2 with an 8.49 ERA in five career starts against the Reds.

Take Cincinnati for the road win.

5 Dime –

INDIANS (With Lee as listed pitcher)

Take the Indians for the road win over the Tigers tonight.

Cliff Lee will start for Cleveland and he’s gunning for his major league-leading 10th win. The left-hander had a spectacular start to the season, winning his first six games while posting a 0.81 ERA over that span. He’s won his last three starts, despite posting a 6.11 ERA.

The Tigers will counter will Dontrelle Willis, who is making his second start since coming off the DL on May 21. The D-Train just hasn’t been the same pitcher as he was a few years ago, and I don’t expect him to go deep into this game or to match Lee pitch-for-pitch.

Take the Indians as they grab the road win.

I was spending most of time in the Az/Bucs thread as I bet Pitt. I just thought I throw in my two cents to help people in the FUTURE.
I;m not a professional or anything, but I know baseball, very well.
So I would advise, A) Don't bet a team going for a 4 game sweep, and B) Yankees #'s are always inflated.

Reading over the thread, seems like a lot of people didn't like the Yanks at that price.

chalks vs. dogs

Obviously there are going to be some of each winning everyday or Vegas would be a ghost town. The key is value. A dog with value is huge, but when the chalks have value the only way to bet them is a two team parlay. It will pay depending on the size of the chalks atleast 1 for 1. I agree with both sides, you can win with chalks & with dogs; just keep your eye on the price. My wp site has Detroit w/Willis tonight, personally I like the Halos. BOL to everybody & may everybody win! RDS
