SOME (very few) historical ATS stats matter and can tell you something... but ONLY if we're talking scenarios with most skill position players and definitely the same head coach. ATS at home and on the road with the same head coach and OC & DC can tell you whether they know how to prepare their teams for a road game and a home game. That's just one of a few examples. Just saying don't just toss historical stats out the window without thinking first
