From a Root client who was supposed to receive a lifetime of his picks because he lost a goy.

ROOT IS NOT HONORING HIS LIFETIME PICKS I RECIEVED WHEN HE LOST A GOY A FEW YRS BACK --

Dear Root Clients,

re: Please read this letter as this is an important notice about how you will receive Wayne Root's services in the future from this point forward.

As you were told earlier this year, the British Company that owned and operated the Sports Handicapping Service using the brand name Wayne Root filed for bankruptcy in England, thereby closing Root Sports in January of 2009. To remind all, Wayne sold Winning Edge to this large publicly-traded British company 2 years ago (in 2007). From that point on, Wayne was not an owner or officer of the company and had no contractual obligation to customers. He merely licensed his "brand name" to this British company. But they were unfortunately caught up in the global meltdown and credit freeze (which has hit UK even worse than America).

To remind all, Wayne sold his company for one primary reason; in anticipation of his run for President of the United States representing the Libertarian Party. Wayne no longer had the time to run a full-time business with over 3 million clients since 1991. Wayne wound up as the Vice Presidential candidate in the 2008 election. Today he is a well known American political leader and a regular on FOX News and many of the most popular political talk shows across the USA. His newest book, "The Conscience of a Libertarian" comes out in a few days (on July 20th). Wayne also now hosts his own political talk show, "W.A.R: The Wayne Allyn Root Show" in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.

This past Spring, after intense business negotiations, Wayne re-purchased the web site "WinningEDGE.com." Now Wayne is back! Wayne Root has made a choice NOT to run a busy company with dozens of employees. So we have scaled down the business to web only- thereby dramatically reducing overhead and the cost to sports bettors and valued clients like you. Wayne now brings a 21st century handicapping business direct to you- with his famous and profitable picks available with just a point and click.

Furthermore, Wayne recognized the fact that some client contracts for selections had been purchased between customers and the salesmen working for the British company for different packages and different lengths of time. Any and all contracts were the responsibility of the company that owned and operated Winning Edge (the company). Wayne had no obligation to honor those contracts as they were between the customer and the now defunct British Company only.

But Wayne made a very magnanimous gesture- he offered to service every customer FREE for 7 months through NFL Playoffs, NCAA Basketball, March Madness, NBA playoffs, and Baseball through the All-Star break! There were no questions asked- everyone received Wayne's exclusive and expensive advice for FREE from January through July. This has now concluded as of the 2009 Baseball All-Star Break.

Now for the purpose of today's email:
WinningEDGE. ( owned and operated by Wayne Allyn Root himself in Las Vegas, NV.) is open for business again- and it is joined by Wayne's new companion site Vegas Winners: Great sports picks delivered by our expert handicappers.. Wayne's famous picks are once again available to all of you online at greatly reduced prices.

Our new 21st century way of doing business means there are:
1) No up-sells
2) No added games or clubs. What you see is what you get.
3) No more request for money from commissioned salesmen.
4) All games delivered for the prices listed in print- with no additional price.
5) No commissions paid to salesmen, so the savings flow directly to you.
6) No daily phone calls or pin numbers to receive games. You just point and click on your own computer.
7) One person is running everything for Wayne- yours truly Hollis Barnhart (as GM).

Wayne is moving forward with great anticipation of 2009-2010 Football and continued winning selections for sports bettors across America. It is the simplest formula in the world- what you see is what you get. Simply point and click every day for the best of Wayne's winning selections!

Last week, I sent an email that is posted on the website showing Wayne's records for the past 6 years (2003-2008) as a reminder about his remarkable and record-breaking track record. That is why the media has dubbed Wayne as "the King of Vegas" and "America's oddsmaker." That is why Wayne is the only professional handicapper in the world with his own star on the famous Vegas Strip (in front of ESPN Zone at New York New York). No handicapper in the history of this industry has ever compiled a more impressive winning record.

Please contact me to discuss in detail your options for the 2009 football season. You can reach me by email at Hollis@winningedge.
I am setting up the same type of service that I have always offered you in email form that you have been receiving. If you want me to call you then please leave your phone number and a good time to call for arranging for 2009-2010 football selections.

BK does in fact wipe out long term guarentees and such. As another example, about ten years ago I had installed a high end Ducane gas grill that at the time came with a life time warranty. That helped ease the pain over the somewhat high costs. As luck would have it, a few years later it needed serious repair beyond normal wear, that would have been covered---like about $500 worth.

BAd bews was that Weber (BBQ grill Co.) bought the company out of BK and all those guarenteed warrantues were rendered no good anymore.

Root is a chicken&# POS. As are most of the others. Buyer beware.
