Pinnacle
Wisconsin (+1) over Notre Dame
7:27 PM (EDT) -- Wells Fargo Center
Pinnacle--Wisconsin + ***March Madness Underdog Shocker of Year Experience could be huge in this game. This is Wisconsin''s fifth Sweet 16 in the last six years. Wisconsin looks for another win after beating Xavier on Sunday. The Badgers are averaging 68.1 points on 42.6 percent shooting and allowing 63.9 points on 42.7 percent shooting. They are shooting 35.3 percent from beyond the arc and 70.5 percent from the free throw line which is key down the stretch. Wisconsin is a team that doesn’t make many mistakes. Although Wisconsin’s offense has been inconsistent, they should be good enough to score on Notre Dame’s very porous defense, which is ranked 172nd in the nation. Wisconsin’s defense is well suited to stop Notre Dame’s offense. Wisconsin is very good at running teams off the 3-point line, which is the perfect antidote for Notre Dame’s 3-point shooting prowess. Wisconsin will need to play a smart game inside, and Ethan Happ will need to show up in a big way. The Badgers should see Nigel Hayes bounce back, and will advance to the Elite Eight and keep dancing. Experience will definitely be a positive factor for Wisconsin.
