I usually am not a fan of favorites, but after the research, I like the Spurs here. Remember, the Spurs are 1-3. This team is furious of their slow start and were the victims of some close losses. This team returns home where they are winless. They face a Miami Heat team that although is 2-2, have lost both games on the road. Both of Miami's wins do come comfortably in blowouts - but they were both home games. I still feel as if the Heat are young and green when it comes to road games. Beasley is a great looking player, but the Spurs are extremely experienced and you get Miami on a bit of a high after their latest blowout win which sets up nicely here for the Spurs. I simply believe the Heat are overvalued coming into this game as this is a poor road team and the Spurs are undervalued in this game given their surprising weak start thus far. This changes today as the Spurs likely win this game for a morale boost at home on national television. The Spurs are 4-0 when their opponent scores more than a 100 points in their previous game which is just a stat that I highlight to the fact this team is a defensive team and is a great bounce-back team as they return hom from a poor start thus far and will get their first win of the year at home this year.<!-- / message -->
