THE DUKE SPORTS
Cincinnati (-2') for 1.5 Units
The Bearcats hammered L'ville last season 41-10 and control a 3-1 ATS mark in this series. The new coaching staffs have gotten their players' to buy into their respective systems and good results are materializing. We, however, like Cincinnati in this spot based on the tougher schedule they played and now that their offensive line is showing dramatic improvement from week 1. And QB Zach Collaros has been put in a good position to succeed with more timing routes, rollouts, and screens to some emerging talent, including vertical threat D.J. Woods. Collaros is making good decisions ( 12 TD / 1 I INT) and we like that kind of poise when hitting the road. Defensively, the Bearcats' run stop unit has been solid -- allowing just 2.6 ypc; consequently, we'll look for Cincy to take away L'ville's strength the run game and send plenty of pressure on QB Froman similar to what Kentucky did to him September 4th. With the favorite at 10-3 ATS in this series and the road team at 4-1 ATS, we'll look for Cincy to deliver.
