BIG AL's VIRTUALLY PERFECT 93%, 13-1 ATS NBA SMASH
Al McMordie goes for his 3rd STRAIGHT NBA WINNER here (after CASHING his High Roller play last night on Dallas)! And, tonight on Friday, Big Al's uncovered an AWESOME 93% Playoff situation that's VIRTUALLY PERFECT since 1997. It's 13-1 ATS, and this situation's next BIG WINNER is right here. Get on it.

Detroit Pistons

Our 3 selections include the Orioles, the 'over' in the Tampa Bay/Oakland game, and the Royals, who are our AL Central Game of the Month.

At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the Detroit Pistons plus the points over Cleveland, as Detroit falls into a system of mine that's 13-1 ATS (and 9-5 straight-up) since 1997.<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

Fan Appreciation Play

Play: Florida w/Johnson vs. Myers

When the Marlins return home to host the defending World Champion Phillies at Dolphin Stadium tonight they will send Josh Johnson to the hill against Brett Myers. That in itself is a major edge for Florida considering Johnson's 4-1 career team start mark with a 3.94 ERA against Philadelphia and Myers' 1-10 career team start mark in this park with a 6.04 ERA. With Johnson in terrific KW form with 3 walks and 21 strikeouts in his last threes starts, look for Florida to improve on its 6-0 mark on Fridays here tonight.

Tip of the Day - April 24, 2009

Today's TIP OF THE DAY:
Sport: NBA

Game: 9:30PM Portland Trail Blazers vs. Houston Rockets

Prediction: Houston Rockets

Current Line: -5

Over/Under: 186

Reason: The Portland Trail Blazers and the Houston Rockets will both be trying to pick up a win on Friday when they battle at Toyota Center in the third game of their first-round playoff series.

Oddsmakers currently have the Rockets listed as 5-point favorites versus the Trail Blazers, while the game's total is sitting at 186.

Brandon Roy had 42 points and seven rebounds to lift the Trail Blazers over the Rockets 107-103 to knot their series at one game apiece on Tuesday night.

Portland couldn't cover as 6-point home favorites as the teams played over the 184-point total listed by sportsbooks.

LaMarcus Aldridge went for 27 points and 12 boards for the Trail Blazers, who got 11 points off the bench from Rudy Fernandez in the win.

Aaron Brooks dropped 23 points to lead Houston, while reserve Von Wafer scored 21 points for the Rockets.

Portland Trail Blazers (55-29) at Houston Rockets (54-30)
The Rockets have won ten of the last 11 contests against Portland at home. In the last meeting at the Toyota Center on April 5, Houston beat the Blazers 102-88. Go with the Rockets in their house to grab their fifth straight home victory over the Trail Blazers. Houston is 33-8 at home this season and is 6-2 ATS in its last 8 games versus Portland.

Houston Rockets -6

Friday, April 24th, 2009 8:10 p.m. est.
Detroit Tigers (8-7) at Kansas City Royals (8-7)
(R) Rick Porcello (1-1) vs. (R) Zack Greinke (3-0)

Kansas City's right-hander Zack Greinke (3-0, 0.00 ERA) has pitched 20 innings this season without allowing a run and Detroit's rookie right-hander Rick Porcello (1-1, 3.75 ERA) pitched well last Sunday, allowing just one run over seven innings of an 8-2 win in Seattle. Go with the under in tonight's contest at Kauffman Stadium. The total has gone 'under' in nine of the last 11meetings and the last five in Detroit .

Cleveland Cavaliers (68-16) at Detroit Pistons (39-45)
Detroit Pistons are back at the Palace, hoping to avoid going down 0-3 against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but I wouldn’t bet on it. Detroit averages 94.2 points per game, while the Cavaliers are allowing opponents to shoot 42.9 percent, an average of just 91.4 points per game. Take LeBron James and crew at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Detroit is just 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games and a horrible 7-18 ATS in their last 25 home games, 3-6 ATS in its last 9 clashes versus Cleveland in Detroit.

Cleveland Cavaliers -5

Friday, April 24, 2009 8:00 PM EST.
Orlando Magic (60-24) at Philadelphia 76ers (42-42)
The Magic are a good road team, 27-14 on the road this season, tied with Cleveland and Boston for tops in the Eastern Conference. They have won the last two clashes in Philadelphia and have been a profitable away from home this season, 26-14-1 ATS. Take Orlando! Bizarre as it may be, the Magic play more aggressive on the road.

Orlando Magic -3.5

Series Starting on Friday April 24th

Platinum Plays are the top rated systems of both leagues. These trends are in excess of 95% and rarely falter. This is where your money needs to be each week.

Friday-Sunday PLATINUM Plays

St. Louis Cardinals @ Chicago Cubs
These two NL Central rivals meet up in Chicago for a weekend set. The Cubs finished up a 3 game home stand against the Cincinnati Reds on Thursday while the Cardinals make the 40 minute flight into the windy city Thursday evening after finishing up a 3 game home stand of their own against the New York Mets. The Cubs will be throwing out their 2 3 and 4 pitchers from the rotation against St. Louis' top three who combined for a record of 6-1 with an ERA below 3.50.
HOW TO WAGER: The Platinum play in this series in on the UNDER. This will be a maximum of a 3 game chase, once a game has won stop wagering, always play to win one unit of profit. Players who followed the above recommendations would of cashed in one winning under ticket in 27 of the last 28 series. This system is an AMAZING 27-1 profiting units 20.4 units.

Bet on St. Louis @ Chicago to go UNDER in one of the three games this weekend.

Milwaukee Brewers @ Houston Astros
The bottom of the NL Central meet up at Minute Maid Park for a 3 game set over the weekend. Both teams struggles are from a lack of offense early in the season. The Brew Crew are ranked 26th in runs per game while the Astros come in next to last. Houston's edge in pitching so far this season may not come into play as they send there 3 4 and 5 starters to the mound against Milwaukee's top 3. I am expecting Houston to get their record back to .500 at home after taking the home series against the Dodgers which ended Thursday night while Milwaukee makes the plane ride across the country from Philadelphia Thursday evening.
HOW TO WAGER: The Platinum play in this series is a 1-2 (5) wagering pattern on Houston moneyline. History shows us that Houston at home has won either the 1st or 2nd game of a series against the Brewers the last 11 series. It also shows us that Houston has not been swept at home by the Brewers in 26 consecutive series dating back into the 90's. Therefore you play it as a 2 game possible chase in games one and two on the 11-0 angle and if it should falter your game three wager is backed by a 26-0 trend which is twice as strong and therefore an additional unit is added.

Bet Houston on the moneyline vs. Milwaukee in games one or two and if not profitable play the Astros in game three as part of the reamaing system.

Texas Rangers @ Baltimore Orioles
Its the AL East vs the AL West in what has become a minor rivalry in the past few seasons between the two. This is a four game set which raps up Monday afternoon. Baltimore finished up a 3 game home set against Chicago Thursday evening while Texas completed their 3 game road trip north of the border in Toronto. The Rangers come into the series top of the league with 6.57 runs per game while Baltimore sits 10th with 5.44 runs per game. Both teams sit in the bottom three in overall pitching and both teams cant hope for much in what has the making for a 4 game slugfest.
HOW TO WAGER: The Platinum play in this series is a (1) 2-4-8 wagering series. What this means is we are going to target the first game of the series for a Baltimore win followed by a standard 3 game wagering series if 1st game does not cash in. Baltimore is extremely strong against the Rangers in game one of their series at Camden Yards. The birds have taken 17 of the last 18 series openers against Texas. This trend goes along nicely with a 26-0 angle that sees Baltimore winning at least 1 game of a series at home against Texas 21 consecutive series.

Use both systems to your advantage and cash in on Baltimore to win the first game or any game over Texas this weekend.

New York Yankees @ Boston Red Sox
Who does not love a weekend series in Fenway when the Yanks come to town..? You get to see the best of the best in this series as both teams send out the top of their rotations this weekend. Both teams had the day off Thursday after finishing up home stands against Oakland and Minnesota. I expect some fire works in the first meeting of everyone's favorite two teams in the American League this weekend.
HOW TO WAGER: The Platinum play in this series is a 1-2 (4) wagering series. The Bronx Bombers have won either game one or two in a series at Fenway dating back 18 previous series. They have also snagged at least one game from Boston in Fenway 34 of the past 35 series. New York also boasts an AMAZING 164-9 (+101.4 units) record to win at least one game in any road series.

Bet New York on the moneyline @ Boston in games one or two and if not then play not to sweep in game three on Sunday.

Friday- Sunday STRONG Plays

Minnesota Twins @ Cleveland Indians
AL Central Rivals meet up in Cleveland for a 3 game series beginning Friday. The play in this series is on Cleveland to take 1 game in a 1-2-4 unit fashion. The Indians are 35-0 since 1995 against the Twins at home to win one game.

Toronto Blue Jays @ Chicago White Sox
The AL East leading Jays travel to Chicago where each team has basically split dating back 8 years. However a strong 11-0 under trend presents its self. Wagering here will be on games one two and three as well in a 1-2-4 unit fashion on the Under which has profited for bettors 11 consecutive series between the two in the Windy City.

Seattle Mariners @ Los Angeles Angels
The best from the West meet up in Los Angeles where the Angles continue their homestand. The Angles have dominated the first game in the previous 5 series in LA winning each meeting. For a stronger trend play the 17-2 angle in which the Angles win either game one or two. This will be a 1-3 wagering series where you play to win a unit in game one and if it were to lose you play to win 3 on the stronger trend in game two.

Washington Nationals @ New York Mets
Two struggling teams meet up in the Big Apple for a three game tilt. Lucky for us this system may not take long to win on. The Mets have dominated the last 9 years winning each game one of the series. This trend boasts well for bettors considering the Mets send ace Johan Santana to the mound Friday evening. If the Nationals pull the big upset follow up in game two as the Mets have won at least one game in 48 of the past 51 series at home. Play as a 1-2 wagering system.

Friday- Sunday TOO CLOSE TO CALL

Detroit Tigers @ Kansas City Royals
Tampa Bay Rays @ Oakland Athletics
Pittsburgh Pirates @ San Diego Padres
San Francisco Giants @ Arizona Diamondbacks
Los Angeles Dodgers @ Colorado Rockies
Philadelphia Philles @ Florida Marlins
