varkey, never advocated this as any sort of GOY or anything. My avg bet this year is 1.25u and this one is double an avg bet. that's all...nothing to blow out of proportion. it's a nice bet, nothing more
if truly interested here is my preview from a closed european forum
While they are unlikely to qualify they are fully focused on this match as the coach believes this could be the decisive game going down the stretch to gain confidence before MLS playoffs while keeping slim hopes of qualifying alive in this tourney. Impact are now on a 3 game slide with b2b 3-0 defeats which is keeping the odds ridiculously high tonight as they shouldn't be higher than 1.50. Massive talent gap b/w MLS and Guatemala and Heredia are not in the class of the big-2, Cremas and Rojos, and are horrendous on the road. This will be first time away in international competition and Guatemalan teams don't fare well against Mexicans, Costa Ricans, and MLS clubs who are the class of concacaf. Take Cremas, the best club in Guatemala, for example. In the past 10 years the only teams they've taken any road points from were TnT clubs and against MLS/CR/Mex they are 0-0-5 4/14. No different for Municipal with 0-0-5 4/16 in CCL's current format away from home against teams in those 3 leagues so Guate a combined 0-0-10 8/30 and now Heredia test their luck in Canada against a really good Montreal team. The Impact have the ability to absolutely drub teams at home as they've showed this year with 5-0 vs Houston, 6-0 vs Toronto, 5-3 vs Philly, 2-0 vs Chicago as they typically start fast and then pile on from there. At home they are a league best +11 goal differential in 1H with a league-high 15 first half home goals scored. Heredia will hope to sit back and defend as one point is all they need but this is a team with no confidence away from home domestically (had gone winless in 27 away until beating Marquense in March) so an early goal will shake them.
