Notre Dame isn't actually going to be "in" the ACC for football. It's not like they get lined up in one of the divisions. Look at it more like scheduling a block of teams. Up to 5 ACC teams per year that rotates, so they aren't even playing the same teams two years in a row. 12 year deal. Still an Independent.

About right for ND. Might as well let the ACC kids wear basketball trucks on the football field. They would have as good a chance. Piss poor conference in football. This scheduling will really help ND to succeed!

i guess you are right and by saying this, it would down grade the win by Ohio St, if the SEC is down

How about the street thugs on the podium representing OSU. And before some hound can say it.... don't care what color they are. An ignorant thug can come in any color. Good to see the kids are really gaining from their free education!

with the new playoff system in place we can now look back and see how flawed the whole system was...Look what would have happened if the old system would have been in place still.. Bama v Fla St... Over the last several years we have had a messed up system throw together two teams that easily might not have been the two best teams.... Not taking anything away from any of the past champions, but nobody can convince me that over the last several years, that under this new & improved playoff system, we would have had some different and more deserving champions..They would have had to do more then get on top of a popularity contest and get invited to a championship game..

Call me a homer...but I still believe the SEC has the better teams (talent) top to bottom. When you look at recruiting the county's top players....the SEC stands out again this year. Ten of the 14 teams are in the top 25 according to Rivals right now. That will probably go to 11 once Florida cranks up.

Golffish nailed it in the second post. The weakness of the conference was a lack of top tier quarterbacks. The QB position was hit hard after the 2013 season.

I wouldn't bury the conference just yet.......

nobody is burying the conference here Cloverleaf... Just saying that its more of a level playing field to win a championship now.. no more of just reputation getting you a free pass.

Understand my friend.......

The flip side of reputation getting you in the playoffs is lack of reputation keeping you out.

TCU was as worthy as any team in the final four in my opinion...yet alone with the Big 12, didn't have the national clout to get in.

I know if I were coaching Bama, FSU, OSU or Oregon....I wouldn't want to draw the Frogs in the first round...NOT
the way they are playing late in the season.

The problem with the Big 12 is that they are odd man out qs far as the conferences go. They play no CC game, and proved that their saying about playing all of the teams was nothing but B.S. If the Big 12 wants to get back into the Playoff discussion, one of two tings have to happen. 1. The playoffs expand to 8 teams. That will not happen anytime soon. 2. The Big 12 will have to pick up Cincinnati and another team, expand to 12 teams, and have a CC game. People said that TCU deserved to be in the playoff. Wrong, Worng, Worng. If they deserved to be in, who should not have been in? Ohio State and Oregon won. Florida State was the undefeated defending NC. That leaves Alabama from the not so great SEC.

The B10 and PAC should enjoy their moment...because that's all it is; a moment.

I will say, Ohio State will be very, very good next year. Outside of a few teams not in the south, there aren't many teams that can compete week in and week out w/ the SEC's best. UF and Tennessee have been down over the last 5 years as well. With new coaches, these programs will return to prominence only making the SEC that much better and stronger.

Ohio State, Oregon, USC, Florida State, Texas, and Oklahoma seem to be the few teams that can regularly field teams that would/will compete w/ the SEC's best.

But this season, please....enjoy your moment. The SEC dominance has gone nowhere!

Conference Bowl Records

4-1 Conference USA
6-2 Pac 12
7-5 SEC
5-5 Big Ten
1-2 Sun Belt
3-4 Mountain West
2-3 American Athletic
4-7 ACC
2-5 Big 12

I agree Coach...I believe the SEC will be better overall next season. Alabama will be loaded again and as you said, several teams are on the rise. Tennessee in particular. As long as the playoff includes just four teams...the SEC will have one of the spots.

Dude, go back to sucking cock. You do it well....especially that shitty Hawaiian QB you have a man-crush on!

The PAC is Oregon. Period. The rest is garbage. The Big 10 is Ohio State. The rest...you guest it; garbage. It doesn't make a "conference" good....much less "great" to have one of your shitty teams get lucky enough to make the big game.

Again, enjoy your moment....because that's all it is.

2 years in a row....No SEC champion. thats all I meant. I could give 2 shits about a whole conference. Conference means nothing, your team is either good or it isn't.

The fact that the SEC schedules bullsh!t match ups at the end of the season show's the SEC is turd anyway. Dominance my ass. Pac 12 teams would run the score up on 75% of the teams in the SEC.

Maybe they should schedule all the regular season games with the SEC schools playing against the PAC-12 teams (12 game schedules with no other out-of-conference games allowed). By golly, we'd find our for sure who the best Conference is then.

3peat...for discussion only for theRX forum.

Please list the final three matchups for the Pac and SEC....

Also, please list each team's AP ranking during those final 3 games.

Should bring the "bullshit" out as you refer to.
