You must be talking about a different .500 system because the Kings weren't a play.

This is the .500 system that i use.
Take teams that have lost 3 consecutive games and are still above .500 (including OT Ls) and the next 3 games are your series. It doesn’t matter if they are home or away games.
This is the same system that gave out that [C] Pittsburgh Penguins win.

Hey guys...just wanted to chime in about the over .500 team 3 game chase in NHL. I don't think I kept my research unfortunately but I backtested this (waiting 1-2 months after the season starts to see who is good and who isn't) and it didn't profit enough. Surprisingly there are some strong teams that go on bad runs late in the season. GL to those who follow it and if I can find my data I will post.
