Ok ass clown. No I wouldn't steal from a collection plate because 1) I don't go to church and 2) I don't need to steal. I'm sorry but deflating a cpl psi out of a ball while some might consider it cheating by NFL standards, it is not as big a deal as you're making out to be. Had they filmed Seahawks run throughs? Yes that is cheating. Obtaining a playbook? Cheating. Deflating to grip better? That's not cheating. The outcome remained the same regardless of this matter. No, no way of knowing if someone else cheats, grabs an advantage because it's not ALL known. For all we know? The NFL was in on this to cause some juicy shit to talk about for a few wks and talking heads can say that's just not right. What if they win the SB? What will you think then? That the Pats cheated? Or the NFL cheated YOU?

All of this show that you're a sleeze who would probably steal from a collection plate in church

What about my example, dafinch, of people who go over the speed limit on the freeway?

Theres belief that cops won't ticket unless you're going 11mph or more over.

If you've ever driven on a freeway dafinch, did you ever go over the posted speed limit?

I do, though not nearly as often as before, it isn't worth it-I haven't had a ticket in many years and my insurance rates are nice and low. Furthermore, I don't equate speeding on the highway with cheating an actual opponent in a competitive contest, either. However, if and when I DO drive over the speed limit, if i get pulled over, I'm taking my medicine. What Wizard is whining about is the equivalent of asking the cop, "Wtf did you pull ME over? Everybody else was doing 70mph, too." Try that and get back to me on how it works out.

wizard has never proposed that Pats not be punished for what happened. He merely was saying that Equipment Managers of NFL teams leaguewide have been setting ball pressure to what the QB on their team likes for as long as NFL has been using inflatable balls.

So many incorrect statements, so little time: are you aware that Brad Johnson admitted he bribed people for the Tampa Bay Super Bowl to get balls deflated? That the Patriots say taht they don't know who deflated the balls, but they admitted that Brady likes the balls deflated? That Aaron Rodgers, who has huge hands, said that he, unlike most quarterbacks, likes a "plumb" football? There are all people who actually now the game well, so, you'll pardon me if I take THEIR opinion over yours about how "big a deal" it is. Furthermore, I notice you carefully avoided answering the baseball scenario I mentioned, I'll tweak it to drive home the point even MORE forcefully: say the Brewers are losing 10-0 in the 9th, 2 outs, nobody on, and Braun comes up. He homers, but, like Sammy Soas many years ago, his bat explodes after he hits it out. By YOUR logic, he should be able to say, "Ignore the fact that I got busted for cheating before and that you caught me now, the score is 10-0, we have no chance of winning, so it isn't really cheating!"

Are you REALLY that fucking stupid that you don't understand that the situation of the game being contested doesn't dictate whether something is cheating or not(and I haven't even addressed the fact that you don't know what would've happened if there hadn't been cheating)???

Has it been proven that the Pats did in fact deflate the balls?

Not sure if I agree that's what he's saying, but, in any event, I'M saying that he has absolutely no way of definitively knowing that, so that's a crock of shit, not to mention that bounty hunting of star players has allegedly being going on for a long time, too, and Patriot owner's lap dog, Roger Godell said, an illegal policy that is widespread is STILL illegal, and he suspended Saint coach Payton for a whole year. Bounty hunting is unseemly, but what the Patriots did-and, given their rep as proven cheaters-the penalty on that surly, hoodie wearing prick should be larger, IMO.

NO. 11 OF 12 were defective. Deflated on their own.

The equipment manager had no idea how Tom liked his balls.

Dude should have just come out and said, "yeah, I like my balls a little softer, we kicked the colts ass, next question."

Translation: I got bitch slapped, have absolutely NO comeback, so I'll try and deflect by concentrating on typos. There aren't any typographical errors in the final sentence, Jagoff, why don't you try answering the question?

you honestly think there's a level playing field in sports? There never is. The human factor or nature is take advantage of opportunities whether it's player, a coach or a biased or betting ref.

There is a level playing field based on the rules. As I already stated, players and teams already try to bend the rules for a competitive advantage. I mentioned the pine tar example, did you not understand the example? The above quoted response shows you don't get it. The human factor.........geezus, my example very clearly shows I get the trying to get an advantage part.

If you had no rules, then what type of game would we have? That's why teams and players are required to abide by them, and when they don't....they are reprimanded.

Its not a tough concept to follow.

As for the driving over the speed limit example, that analogy has nothing to do with the current dialogue.

Actually it IS comparable. Some ppl choose to speed while others are scrared to go that 1mph over. They all play the game or drive in this instance.

Yes there are rules. And human nature is "who are you to tell me what to do?" Unless you have absolutely no balls and abide by everything which equates to a pussy. Not a rule follower.

And even when teams ARE following every rule, you think it's an even playing field then? It NEVER is. I'll give you an example: LSU, Alabama or USC plays a college within the conference who can't even compete with that team. Why? Is it to pump up the big Money team because they need that encouragement? It's bullshit and unfair advantage in college, not to mention illegal but no one opens their trap about that now do they? No. They just root for the top college team disregarding the fact they scouted, paid the families ect to recruit a guy to the team as well as under the table shit if he's performing and making sure he's happy.

On an NFL level it's the same shit. You have the lowly Jags, or this years TB or Oak who can't compete with top teams yet they must play. But all of a sudden these shit teams after Wk 7 especially not having won a game become the super team. They will beat a team. They'll play like they never played all season. I guess they just put it together right? Or was it luck? I'm betting hands were all in it unless they beat an equivalent shit team. Ppl get outraged over the dumbest shit. Why? Because that's exactly what the media wants you to do. You become the sheep. It's not OK for Pats to deflate balls, but it's perfectly ok for referees to fuck up the game? I don't hear you stating that shit. It's ok for Washington to get 5 downs in 2010 vs TB in the last possession of the game. It's ok to throw that flag so the team can come back and win the game when they should've lost. But God forbid. A cpl ounces deflated from a football and they're nothing but cheaters! Lmfao!

Wait. WHAT?!?!??

Patriots were shown to be in possession of 11 improperly inflated balls.

A violation past QBs have called "normal, goin' on forever"..."everyone does it"

Your wife is pulled over, cited: exceeding the posted speed limit on freeway

6 miles over, her speed, everyone goes up to 10 mph over and you know this

So really, you strip her of a draft pick? Suspend her for a year? For just doing whatever one else does which, yes....

she broke a rule thats broken as Standard Operating Procedure in LIFE.

As adjusting psi within footballs: Standard Operating Procedure in NFL.

The analogy is perfect. These are the same exact things. Ya'll just hate the PATS. At least 1 of ya'llz in NEW YORK.

The BRONX. Case CLOSED.

Saying "everybody does it" is stupid and untrue.

Comparing this to driving over the speed limit is nonsensical.

Talking about the score of the game is irrelevant.

You get disqualified or punished for cheating because you were found cheating. That is the issue here.

NCAA Football has those HUGE mismatches Ole Miss Rebels vs. Presbyterian Blue Hos type games so that The Blue Hos school can see a HUGE infusion of cash into the program wiz. Without which some of these schools would be unable to afford OTHER athletics like in Blue Hos example: Women's Whatever this game is where they use a tennis ball with a stick with a pouch-like thing on it:

EMPPWEVNEXMHKQA.20140406202446.jpg

Damn that pic came out a bit bigger than I'd hoped.

The real question might be: "Why is Presbyterian's mascot a Prostitute in Blue Body Paint?"

Human Nature is to push the envelope of "legality" and even venture past it after weighing the odds of being caught...so as to gain an edge cuz engraved in Human DNA is a DESIRE TO PREVAIL.

We are talking basic Survival Instinct related stuff here guys.

Are there people that will just absolutely NOT CHEAT under any circumstances? Absolutely but they are few and far between. I admire such people as we all should. Reality is though, more start out Saints and wind up Sinners after watching the Sinners (who comprise 99% of those that surround them) get away with gaining a competitive edge as result of their pushing that envelope of Rules, Fairness....legality.

There may be no way to resolve a conflict that sees guys just asking for an even playing field against guys who are just citing the Reality that Humans (to an overwhelmingly large extent) Cheat if they can get away with it. Thats just the way it is. Sinners sin Saints get the short end of the stick often but in the great by and by Saints come out on top or...

maybe this is all a massive phuccin mindphuc illusion.

Whatever the case, do keep your eyes on the Refs. NFL wants higher scoring more competitive games and they would like as much PARITY as possible on a season-wide basis.

The game is changing. If your handicapping does not also change deep dark winters, cold as a naked witches titty in salem harbour 1666 is a'comin so just watchout....backdoor covers shall abound as shall overs 'less Vegas adapts and overcompensates but no one likes to play UNDERS lol. Unders suck cuz here ya are hoping for no scoring. Watch Out.

They deflated on their own?

Yes. And Of their own free will. Well, some of them...

The 4th ball was hesitant to deflate and the 7 & 9th balls were a bit afraid of the needle.

It was sorta like Jonestown.
