I have been wagering on NBA (and the usual sports) for over 40 years. I can definitively say today that the NBA has aligned themselves with the casino industry and become corrupt due to sports betting revenues. Tonight's example is how many news outlets reported that JAMES HARDEN IS PLAYING AND WILL BE IN THE LINEUP FOR THE NETS. Guess what? He was injured and out all along. The line did abruptly come off the Board at +8.5, then relisted at +10.5 within 20 minutes of game time, I will admit that. However, when the media reports he is playing (despite listed as game time decision), this is just another example of how the league must be in cohoots with the casinos, and the result is the average sports bettor is fu__ed. There is no way to confirm who is and who isn't playing anymore. It's much worse when the report is WRONG, whether intentionally or not (of course I cannot prove anything, but it is worthy of debate). Sad.
