Pinnacle—-Texas Tech Mississippi State rallied from a 16-point second-half deficit to force overtime, but ultimately fell 82-74 on the road against No. 12 Kentucky on Tuesday. That loss will be hard to shake off. Especially on the road where we see Texas Tech sitting perfect at 13-0. Consider that Texas Tech had 54-game non-conference home winning streak that was snapped two years ago and then started another streak that remains undefeated. Tex Tech nearly pulled off the double overtime victory against Kansas, but for once their defense was overpowered this season. Will it happen again Saturday? Not a chance. Let's remember this Red Raiders defense allowed less than 70 points in 12 straight games before the collapse. The only slight worry, if you need one, would be the deep ball. However, the Bulldogs are horrible from behind the arc hitting 27.08% on the road which is 327th in the nation. Let's examine this Red Raiders defense even more. They are allowing 58 points per game at home which is 36th in the nation, allowing 38.47% from the court, 58th in the nation and lastly only allowing 23.63 rebounds per game, 7th in the nation. The Raiders are not going to allow any room of a comeback or backdoor cover in this case. Take the Raiders here.
