Scott, who do you generally look for then?
I thought Root was one of the best.
Do my own capping mostly.
The only capper posted here that has won more than lost that I've tracked is Marco Deangelo (Sports Unlimited).
I fade Al Demarco as a religion, unless I strongly agree with his choice then I'll pass that Play. BTW both he and 'The Swami' sell picks from people who don't exist.
None of Budin's 'cartels' are real.
Private Players has had some epic losing streaks. Watch him when he goes cold. Lenny Stevens is pretty bad. Kelso as well. My old friend Mike Neri is poor as well.
The newspaper guys Hondo and Mighty Quinn are awful so oppose them.
Most services hit between 45-50%. Stay away from all services who have more than one set of game, or who charge per pick and not per day.
Here's a post I made a few years ago --
"There's no such thing as a Game of the Year. It's a marketing ploy. Professional bettors bet 1 Unit per play on nearly every game. When they "Step Out" they bet 1.5 Units. Actually ALL RATINGS are a marketing ploy. Kelso with 200 Units on 1 game and 5 Units on another - Are you serious man? The best way to do this is to keep your own stats and systems, cap the card, and THEN come here and make sure a bunch of touts who NEVER BET and lose more often than they win are not on the play you circled. Then you fire....... Or look for a couple of jokers who are normally posted here to fade. Buying plays, and playing the ones a salesman gives you are a surefire ticket to land you broke and at an 'Occupy' rally. Even if your tout goes 54-46 your credit card bill will kill the winnings."
