For those of you who want some info on ATS Consultants
This has truly been a long time coming for me to post on the ATS LOCK CLUB or ATS CONSULTANTS. I usually just check picks, and see what all you guys are talking about, but I’ve never been one to post something unless I had to.
Personally I am so glad I found this forum, because if I didn’t I may still be with ATS.
As a company, they are very professional, staff is great, and my personal rep was awesome. Even emails me to this day to see how I’m doing and try to get me back in. They have classy mailers, great gifts for their customers. In an industry full of “what have you done for me lately” they do stand out as a classy organization.
The problem with them is… well they are squares. They can’t win. They go with the obvious. They can’t win. They lie about their yearly stats. They can’t win. They are great fade material, and did I mention, they can’t win???
Proof? They said this will be a great bowl season, set to win “x” amount of units (as if you can predict how many units you will win?? C’mon).
You want to know their bowl record? 13-21-2, for -35 units. And you know they hype that their players play $100-250 a unit. Looks like a nice loss of $3500-8750 on 35 picks ironically. It’s almost like every game they lost a unit. Let’s not get too technical, but realize that they are over hyped.
As far as today’s grand slam goes…
Well as of this post its already 1 loss on Louisville. Here are the lines and the percentages on the game according to scores and odds.
8 Louisville -12.5 73%
8 W.Mich -4.5 to -6 86%
8 James Madison -9 89%
8 South Alabama -7 85%
6 Vandy -5.5 56%
6 La Tech PK 81%
You see a trend? 4 picks that are 80% public or higher. You aren’t going to win like that. And their advertising is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO STUPID. “We are going to destroy Vegas?” Listen clowns, if you want to win at sports betting you better learn how to be on the Vegas side. The idea is the know what Vegas is doing, not to destroy them. This company is so square.
Even their lock of the year picks are traditionally 80% or higher. And they have been getting hammered in Football Lock of the Years. The last being North Carolina losing to Pitt in the bowl game. A 10 unit loss. Speaking of which… they always advertise games at one unit level, but when you get your picks it’s different. UNC was supposed to be 15 units, they dropped it to 10.
How can you have confidence in a pick that they devalue after hyping it up all week?
So you might be asking… ok you’ve bashed them enough… is there anything positive that can come from this story?
Yep there sure is. When I got with ATS I was a wet behind the ear college kid, borrowed money from my dad saying “These guys are great, we’ll win money every year”. And I remember it as if it was yesterday…. They went on this horrible losing streak, and I put my last bankroll dollars on their lock of the year which was the Chiefs vs Bills. Chiefs were covering, everything was great… I was about to double up, ATS ROCKS right?!
WRONG! Cue Doug Flutie…. Meaningless TD as time expires for the backdoor moose job. I literally fall off my bed crying. My dad comes up and asks me what happened, and I have to tell him I lost all the money, and then go on a long walk by myself. I started that season from the start…. And they consistently lost every week. I started with a $5000 bankroll and they ate it all.
Ok but you still don’t see any positive out of this right?
Well that is when I decided that there is a way to win at sports betting… and that way is to LEARN IT YOURSELF! Screw all these touts and scrubs who contradict each other every play. If you can’t handicap games yourself… STOP BETTING!
This is a business and a job, not a hobby. If you treat it like a hobby you will get massacred. Since my experience with ATS I have become so much better at sports betting (and stupid me did give them another chance after they gave me a free season for my troubles, and they lost that season too).
My advice is learn sports betting yourself. Read books like the smart money, the zen of gambling, and just get a feel for the inside world of sports betting. Be a contrarian. Be like Warren Buffet who says “Be fearful when others are greedy. Be greedy when others are fearful”.
Do you get it guys? When the public is scared and bets a team just in fear that the other team isn’t good enough to bet on, then BET that team. When you are leaning towards a team and everyone agrees with you, that is BAD!
It’s service play touts that literally make me want to teach a class on my struggles and adventures and just show people what I know, and let them make picks on their own.
I hope you all learned something, that even the classiest tout service, with the pretty website, the lovely customer service, the great deals…. They all stick suck in the end. You make and break yourself in this business and you control your own destiny. These touts DO NOT bet the games, they make money off you guys who pay for their picks. And if your getting the picks for free.... more reason NOT to take them.

All I can say is that anyone who believes Budin is anything but the ultimate con artist with his LIES and MADE UP/FANTASY syndicates shouldn't be gambing.
If sports gambling and sports services were legal, regulated and licensed in this country, guys like Budin would have lost his license to operate a long time ago as well as being fined; he would have had a good chance of serving time in jail also because of the scandalous manner in which he operates his "service."
