McCain was suffering from a lack of enthusiasm and a lack of money, in no particular order, and he was in dire need to change all that. He was trailing badly in the polls.
She changed those dynamics, she brought in money and she motivated a large part of the base. Her choice actually put him ahead in the polls and he essentially remained in the race until the banking crisis hit. Once all that drama occurred, no republican was going to win. But that there stuff is way too deep for the vettards of this world.

the one thing I said that was / is an opinion is that nobody could help McCain overcome the banking drama. Once that happened, I don't think any republican could win. So you can disagree with me on that one issue. In every other issue I mentioned, I'm right and that's that.

I heard Sarah is being dumped by Fox. I adored her until she was fatally damaged by her interviews with Couric & ABC, Sarah is yesterdays news & credit her for making good money while she could.
