It is a shame that guys like Pino give this industry a bad name.

There is no logic to you not paying this guy Pino. From a PR perspective you are losing the battle. If you pay the man, at least other players will feel that you eventually did the right thing, which is better than not doing it. Keep this in mind, if you pay the player some people will never play with (too late for them) but others will say maybe this is an isolated case and he eventually did the right thing. They will at the very least feel that you are a man of reason and changed your mind. That does say alot. And certainly alot more than stiffing without giving any credible evidence of cheating.

If you want to boot a play for winning that is your perogative, but don't hold back money that he won at your shop. Salvage what is left of your reputation by doing the right thing and paying this player!

Pino should pay the man and tell him to leave. The reports came back and Pino didn't like what he seen, so pay and boot.

I don't want to get into a pissing match with you either but you were not privy to the telephone conversations I had with this guy. Also you seem to go on and on but you are the one that refuses to email me or answer my emails after I have already stated here what my email address was. I run a number of spam blocks on Support@sfaricasino.com as we get hundreds of spam everyday. If the rx address was somehow blocked you email would not get through. That can happen. If one email from that address is marked junk mail it would block other email from that address. I have said you can email me but you refuse to do so. My dealings with this individual are confidential. I do not have a problem defending myself and really do not care what you think. You have never sent me one client therefore why should I be concerned about your threats. My clients can judge for themselves. Yes it seems foolish not to pay $953 but it is a matter of principle. This guy said he was not involved in this certian issue but the logs proved otherwise. When I am wrong I am the first to pay. In response to your long post I did not even bother reading all of it. I have no interest in doing so. You claimed you tried to send me an email. I provided you with an address. I sent you an email. You did not have the courtesy to respond. Case closed. Get someone else to argue this point. You are in fact what you accuse me of being. But you run this board so you have the final say. Enjoy it. Anyone on this board that may have any questions i will be more than glad to answer your emails. Pino@safaricasino.com.
Cheers

Screw anybody that would play with a book like this. If you play at this book, then you know of sites like this. If you get stiffed at crap books then you deserve it.

Pino - I didn't answer your e-mail because as I said I am not going to waste time arguing with you about unrelated stuff. Why don't you understand that? I am not angry with anyone, it's just business. We run across some books who are very professional and want to get it right immediately, others are offended or embarrassed and try this dodge and weave game all the way to the end. I have other things to take care of Pino. If you stiff the player you stiff him, I won't like it for the player's sake but there is nothing I can do. If you want to discuss the case fine, all you did is send me a bunch of allegations and jibberish. I know you are defensive but I am not going to waste my time with stuff like this....

>>>What have you ever proposed you can do for Safari. Nothing. So don't ask what I can do for you. Pino<<<

Again, you aren't doing anything for me by paying the player!!? Are you joking around? You would be doing what is right. That should be enough, if it isn't it is best we know that now. Sure I feel sorry for the player but you are not doing me a "favor", you are doing yourself a favor. Geez. Now having said that I will work with anyone to resolve it but I am not going to go back and forth with you accussing me of stuff not even in the slightest bit related to this player. You are back to the groping on any reason you can think of to not pay this debt.

For the record I think we may be talking about two different players anyway. Twice you have wrote the wrong amount of what you owe and in addition this guy claims he has never spoken with you on the phone? Anyway if you want to clear the matter than feel free to contact me about this issue, otherwise no need to waste time writing nasty stuff to each other in e-mails. Not my style. I just went through one of these cases with BetFlamingo where he used excuse after excuse so I don't want to play any games here. First he had employees stealing from him which prevented him from paying, then he got robbed by a bank for 90K, and somewhere along the line he had surgery which deemed him unable to pay off players. I am getting the game down a little bit more and can recognize when a book is going to stiff someone so I apologize for not playing along with the patience I usually exhibit. If you aren't going to pay we understand, we will alert who we can and move on. If you do want to make this right - GREAT, let's do it. If saving $939 is this important to you that you are going through all this I am sure there is nothing I can say to change your mind. Good luck.

SurfRat - very strong post, thanks. I appreciate you and the other players who pipe in to try and help another player who is not getting paid. It's very unselfish as most players look the other way until they are involved, by then it is too late. A lttle show of solidarity amongst the players is a good thing in my view.

Truth is this one is decided already but the guy getting stiffed was happy to see some support anyway. Trust me when you do this a while you can tell when a player is not going to get paid almost from the start. I told the player upfront we need to warn others but he will never get this money. Thankfully we have learned our lesson as players on a relatively small amount of money. Pino could have gotten someone for a much bigger amount instead of only this. I will try and find out the other licenses he has and alert everyone when I get back from Vegas next week. Thanks again everyone.
