Depends how well connected the players were that he stiffed I suppose in the end. Regardless if he is ever charged with something, it sucks having multiple people, potentially some of them law enforcement contacting both your soon to be ex-wife's place of employment as well as his. Yes and the NFL contest was $220 buy in. I was the last to collect on the NCAA bowl contest $1040 took him a while to pay me said his pay-pal was locked said he could send money order but never came. But Lowe and behold his pay pal got unlocked a week later and he paid. Conveniently after he collected for another contest.

This guy held the money for squares contests (multiple pools) and then made up a story about his wife stealing the money and then it turns out he owed in some season long contests too where he held the money. Now hes been gone for 3 weeks

I met BAS during the TheRx glory days when we had bashes and everyone got along and it was about sports betting. I never played in the contests, but BAS was always nice. His wife was sociable as well. They were in the harness horse business, which we talked about on several occasions. Now this site is filled with trolls, politics is argued ad nauseum, and BAS turns out to be a scammer/or a degenerate gambler. You never know.
