Dante I have been around here for a while now, but it just takes time to really feel comfortable going to LV to meet all these people, at least for me anyway.

But enough is enough, there are some cool-ass mofos up in this joint and I want to put a face and real-life personality with the name. I am almost more interested in meeting people who have annoyed me on here, cause I think I will be surprised when I meet them. Add to the fact that its free rooms, cheap flights from where I live at that time of the year, and an organized party, how the hell can I afford not to go???

You're definitely one of the dudes I want to meet and chat with, but I'd hope you know that.

thanks for the kind words Gambreaker...looking forward to seeing you and everyone I have seen for 4 years again also:toast:

Never stayed in Alladin, but I've had some really good late night runs on their craps and poker tables, and I'm a big fan of the Flamingo's buffets, it's a win-win situation

I am very exicted to attend this event. I'll probably roll up with my best friend and get hammered with y'all.

Which hotel do I sign up at? And when does the drinking start?

When u all say red tape what does that mean?

Cant figure out what would stop these hotels from wanting some buisness.

it literally means red tape. People that would rather stay at the hotel have found xpanda and wil and have wrapped them in red tape, thus preventing them from calling and making reservations.

Journeyman showing up for one of these things? Yeah right.

If by some miracle he does though, I might have to make the trip out there and verify that he's not a bot.

Any update ?

Airfares might be especially high this year, keeping some away. That's what will determine it for me.

I might just drive out there. Only problem is traffic. Can't say I've ever driven anywhere as busy as Vegas. Maybe drive down there, park at a hotel, and taxi wherever. I like that route.

Driving in Vegas isn't that bad, its not NYC or LA bad. Once there its easy to get around strip with busses, taxis, monorail. I'd not drive once there because of the likely drinking.

From Idaho ( ?) the drive should be cake.

I figured it would be alot quicker. Mapquest is saying it's 750 miles and 10.5 hours but they have me taking a detour going around Nevada and through Salt Lake. Seems there would be a quicker way...

Sounds like it. I figured it would take like 4 or 5 hours which is about how long I can get from Boise to the northern part of Idaho. Almost 11 hours may be a little too much for me.

I'm sure I could find one of those $65 flights I keep seeing.

Depends on what you want to do, you might want to see things on the way. The flight is probably cheaper than driving unless its a larger number of people going.

I don't know the route from the North.
