It is not our right to kill another

There is no such thing as "rights". "Rights", "ethics" etc are just human inventions. They don't exist out in the real world.

Now give me a couple things that make us omnivores.

The fact that we have eaten meat for hundreds of thousands of years. Just because we weren't originally designed to eat raw meat doesn't mean that we're not now omnivores. It doesn't matter whether our bodies are suitable, the fact is that we do it.

You're letting your personal feelings get in the way of sensible discussion.

Biology is not personal feelings. There are a million things that we can do but shouldn't do or are supposed to do. It is not in human nature to hunt and eat animals. Basically you are saying that it does not matter what the facts are, if we do it, it is right. There is not one thing that makes us an omnivore. That is biology, not feelings.

Obviously you don't, as instinct is simply learned behaviour that becomes second nature as it is passed down through the generations.

Predominantly. Our distant ancestors (other primates) are omnivores as well. Chimps aren't strictly herbivores.

We learned to kill animals for food from watching other animals do it. We do not have an instinct to kill animals.

Actually we do, which is why some humans go hunting. Whether we learned it from other animals doesn't matter, the fact is that we learned it possibly hundreds of thousands of years ago and it has long since been bred into us.

No, humans have just become sensitised to the actions of killing something. We haven't killed for ourselves for thousands of years. We also aren't that sensitised to it as we can quickly adjust, ie jobs such as a cop, doctor, then there's hunting and war.

Once again, omnivores and carnivores have an INSTINCT to hunt and kill. Humans have a LEARNED behavior to hunt and kill for food. Our biological makeup proves this because our biological makeup is that of an herbivore.

An animal isn't less then a human, human is just higher up on the food chain. An animal will kill whoever is lower on the chain because the animal knows he can kill it. We kill animals because were higher on the food chain then them and we know we can kill them. Eventually something will come along that will kill us, some evolved species of something, we'll be second on the food chain because they know they can kill us. It's evolution baby.

So in your theory hunters should be able to be killed. As long as I can go out and kill them then it is ok. Whoever can kill whoever is at the top.

While I dont have an opinion either way on hunters I do respect your passion on this issue. Like you said in an earlier post about passion. Nice to see someone have passion for something. As always when you do have passion about something around here all the clowns come out and jump you.
