I thought that this is what RX was for, to alert the public about sports, sportsbooks, slow pays and bad service.

What is the number of posts a person is allowed to have before alerting the forums about slow pays? Over 100? Over 500? Over 1000?

I come to forums to check out sportsbooks and to see what's new and what's happening. Does it mean that I have to post?

I base my decisions on what I read in the forums and then decide from there. I read about Royal and decided to give them a try. Well guess what?

They Failed! They chose to screw around an honest customer. They chose wrong. That was my money and my winnings.

If they would have been up front about not being able to return my funds, I would have been willing to wait. They lied and they stalled.

When I chose to post my opinion, that’s when they sent the cheque and that seems to be the way that they work…

Poster = you get paid,“Average Joe” Non poster = slow pay. It’s that simple. It’s ironic that all Royal posting supporters here have been paid.

Royal can’t respond even and their “CEO” is supposedly on vacation? Is there not anyone there
that can reply to emails or complaints? Seems like there isn’t.

I am glad to have taken my money out now. So please stop judging me and calling me ridiculous names when you do not know me. I am only posting the honest truth, that’s what the RX is here for. I have no ulterior motive here! Thank you.

Raw- the whole problem is that you come in here screaming SLOW PAY!!!!!! and it wasn't even a week. I once had a problem with a book that took three weeks and I did it in a much more subtle way. If you have a problem bring it up but don't scream about it unless necessary. Plus you did it on a Sunday night. Looks like the Sunday games didn't go your way and you fired on Royal.

Indeed. Advertiser or not. These cases should be brought up and hopefully settled properly.

Raiders-

In your view, when does a slow pay become a "slow pay?" How long after a book's stated payment policies should a player have to wait before he justifiably has a right to complain about being paid?

Hi Swami- It is a slow pay and the guy does have a true complaint but I think he went about it wrong. Something to the effect of having a problem getting paid, help needed would have been more appropriate. You've been around the block. Would have come in here screaming SLOW PAY!!! in his situation on a Sunday night when Royal can't reply until Monday?

...and I'd add to Raiders' point by saying that between Pat, General & the others, it is pretty abundantly clear how to contact a moderator PRIVATELY & DISCRETELY and have them try to get a response for you. If they (the moderator) have no luck then not only can you come here screaming, but you will have a respected person to immediately support your claim.

Raiders-

You're right, coming in here and screaming was a bad idea given the circumstances (day of request, timing, etc.). I would have certainly handled it differently. From your post it seemed that you were implying that one week did not constitute a "slow pay" and I just wanted to make sure I was incorrect in the way I was reading it.

The slow pay issue sucks. There's a "good guy" component where you want to ensure that the book doesn't screw other players but by doing that you reduce your chances of getting paid depending on the method you use to alert others.

Someone who goes to the forums before going to a mod is just plain stupid and reeks of the poster having an ulterior motive.
