All you rednecks that are sticking up for old "The line to make is the 40" should go back to your double wides and stroke yourself for the third time today because obviously you been turned down by women all your lives. Keep using that "How's it going, sweetcakes?" line to women, because it's a sure-fire turn-on to all of them. Good lord.

you've a loser

Suck it up. People call each other worse everyday. You are working in sports, if u can't handle the heat go teach elementary school or stay home and cook some dinner for your man .

F'in joke.

Why would u want to work with a woman instead of a man unless of ourselves u want to bang them.

You must be joking. What you say to a person in a bar is different than what you can say at work. Some people take things more personal than others and furthermore it's just not professional. This isn't the 1950's.

If you work in a male-dominated career field you're already sensitive to begin with. A "no big deal" comment to you may be a bigger deal to someone else. It's not up to the comment maker to determine if it's ok or not. If the person is offended then they are offended and you have no say in the matter.

His first comment was border line sexual harassment, Franklin's second comment a**hole was just crass at best...............

Why do you even post here, you bring less than nothing to these boards.

If Franklin did that in the office-place, he's ashcanned, with no unemployment.

He has 5, 10 count him of at FIRED.

What a great post...I remember when Franklin had the Saturday night ESPN game when it was the only game being televised. His "count it off at X yards" was a signature call and I loved it. Assinine move here, but he was one of my favorite play by play guys.

No. We say some pretty harsh things to one another during our sales meetings. If you are ultra sensitive, you aren't going to make it. Glengarry type stuff. You gotta have a sac and some thick skin.

This is football! One of the toughest most violent sports in the world. If you are a wuss or easily offended, go work at a circus or school preschool cafeteria. Suck it up. They are only words.
He didn't slap her on the ass and say bitch go get me an ice tea and hand cream.

There are far more important things in the world to complain about.

Dude, a pregame meeting for ESPN employees is a workplace not the football field. This has nothing to do with football. And my friendly advice to you and you can do whatever you want with it is to be very careful what you say and do at work. You could be the subject of a lawsuit quicker than you know it and I'm being 100% serious. They are not only words to HER. They were offensive to HER and that's all that matters. In this day and age people take this stuff serious and I have at least 4-5 hours of this sensitivity training per year.

More than your trolling attention whore miserable misogynist posts.
Why do you hate women so much? You routinely refer to them as cvnts, any poster that remotely stands up for them you label a loser
Could it be you were blessed with a 2 1/2 inch tool?
Bitter because Peter Rabbit is hung more than you?
Could it be you are hung like this.

Dude, don't be hating on women because you are hung like a white field mouse who got rejected by drunk Jane and Sally on New Years Eve after they looked at your belt and laughed.
Don't be hating on Jesse and Rev Sharpton because they have real man equiptment.

Mad Men is a fake piece of fiction set in the 60's about an advertising agency. It's good TV, but it's a fantasy.
Some people here live in a fantasy world where they think that way of life is real.
If it was real, in 1971 Betty Draper sues Don for infidelity, gets 3/4 of his 6 figure paycheck, plus child support for her 3 kids.

This is real 2010's, not fantasy world 1960's, people, deal with it, you have to play by the 2010's rules.

He should NOT be fired for this. Either he should have apologized personally on his own later or the lady should have said something back derogatory toward him to make it even LOL. Not only that, it looks like she was interrupting a somewhat personal conversation which is rude. So she started it LOL (how is that for elementary LOL)

So glad this is in the rr now.

If a guy at your work Called another guy an asshole or sweetcakes would he be fired over it?

Probably only if the guy was gay and out of the closet?
