is he running?

wouldn't it somewhat be known by now if he put feelers out to donors and such? if he goes by polling/research data it is probably gonna show his chances are solid

Thats the stage they are in now.
Putting out the feelers. Nothing even close to official.
But I think his chances would be much better this time around.

I don't know, Chop. Not many losing candidates have had success when running for election after already having lost one. Off the top of my head, the only one who bucked that trend was Richard Nixon who ran way back in 1960 before winning in 1972 and...? Can't think of anyone else.

Romney has been running for this job for more than a decade now. At some point, you've got to say enough is enough and realize it isn't meant to be. Not to mention, I can't think of a more demoralizing choice for the Republican base. It'd be like an NFL team returning the exact same staff, players and management the year after going 0-16.

Would he do a good job? Perhaps. Is he an ideal candidate? Not by a long shot. Republicans had a pretty sorry turnout last time...it may be even lower if Romney gets the nod yet again.

Romney made it on his last name; Obama made it on his own. Barack Smith would still be Prez, Mitt Smith would be working in a cubicle.

Cone on man. Did you type that with a straight face ?

He came close. Reagan tried to run in 1976, but Gerald Ford got the nomination of the GOP at the convention...and then went on to lose to the dumbest president we've ever had. I'm talking about actual finalists for the party who lost the general election before going on to win one. Ronnie doesn't qualify.

Only one president in history has served two non-consecutive terms (bonus points if you can name him).

I cheated.

Stephen Grover Cleveland (March 18, 1837 – June 24, 1908) was the 22nd and 24th President of the United States; and, therefore was the only US president to serve two terms not in a row (1885–1889 and 1893–1897) and to be counted twice in the numbering of the presidents.

Well what Bush, Obama, and the Fed did was evolutionary in economics. Will be studied by educated people (obviously not you) for decades as the appropriate way to handle a massive economic crisis. It was the epitome of perfection especially compared to the way they handled the Great Depression (which is your way), lol. It's very impressive what they did. Shit stopped once the obstructionist republicans stopped all govt action. Now we are left with a shitty economy. Romney will spend like a mad man!

I'm certain there was meant to be a joke in that comment somewhere, please stop with the silly stuff.

Never ever going to happen. It’s just his nature.

He will remain a rube his entire life.

Fifty years from now he’ll still be posting the same shit.

Over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

once again showing us how clueless clueless can be

it's what the democrats rely on, it's why the Democratic Chair says "Republicans are more dangerous than Ebola", it's why they have rallying cries like "Romney hate women", it's what a lying piece of shit like the least prepared man in the room can get away with saying stuff like "you can keep your doctors" (which he said repeatedly for years even though he knew it was not true) when it's 1,000% obvious that wasn't possible, it's why a worthless man like Obama can say "Obamacare fees are not taxes" even while his lawyers were arguing in front of the United States Supreme Court that such fees "are taxes" and thus the law should be allowed to stand (if they weren't taxes, the entire bill becomes unconstitutional)

you see, they need stupid uninformed voters, it's their life blood, it's proven in the exit polls each and every year save for 2008.

Yeah that's just like me watching the Bucs vs Vikings past Sunday. This again is what our country is left with, I wish they could just scrap the whole damn thing. Hilary wins though, I know the Repubs on this site will disagree but Hillary would win vs. Romney. Me, I could care less who wins, can't stand either

Obama has never made anything on his own, it is always due to his supporters. Are you referring to Hussein Smith. Kept that name under wraps as much as possible. Romney saved the Olympics if you remember correctly and for no charge as I recall. All Obama ever did was arouse minorities.

Romney will win by default again. The clown show conservatives can't win on the national stage. They even scare normal Republicans. Obama would destroy Romney again if he had a 3rd chance. But since he doesn't and leaves pretty much undefeated in his life... it might come down to Hillary. I honestly hope someone comes up the ranks and beats Hillary again. But whoever wins the Dem primary will be President.
