So, getting back to the top 4. Will 2 big 10 teams be in there? Who do you have now?

Haven't read the entire thread so not sure if this was brought up. There was one replay I saw that looked like Barrett lost control of the ball after he hit his own guy, ball never really left but was loose. He obviously held onto to it but that was another thing I'm not sure a lot of people saw or ignored. And I don't care what anybody says you bring the chains out for a measurement on a play of that magnitude
Someone else that doesn't know football. In ot you start at the 25 if the ball touches the 15 it is a first down. Why would you need to measure?

Didn't think about that, or really pay that much attention to the spot I was looking at his progress and also if he kept control. Your absolutely right tho, can't argue that. Actually know football very well, that's more of a critical thinking error on my part

I was switching back and forth between the game and the horse racing channel. Didn't realize that it was the start of an ot series.

Still don't think he got the 1st down. Very close call on that one.

though i found it odd osu was only called for 2 penalties in a double ot game, the referees did not decide the game, the michigan qb did...terrible turnovers that directly led to points and no ball control in the second half, that wolverine defense was gassed late

harbaugh can bitch all he want, but he is the one that called a pass from his own end zone

You guys are too funny man. SMH. Calls missed and made on both sides. There was no overturning that 4th down call with the video they showed on TV, whether the spot was right or wrong. It was very close and could've gone either way, but once it was spotted there was no video angle to give a good reason to overturn it. I didn't know only 2 penalties against OSU, that's crazy, but if you don't commit fouls, they don't throw flags. Could've been a PI called on that 3rd down play, but we have the benefit of seeing it again in slow mo. The refs have to make judgement calls in real time, and if it's not that noticeable they probably don't call that in big games. There were some calls they made that we didn't even see in real time until the replay showed it.
Oh, and refresh my memory, when was it that Ohio State got "smokeshowed" in the Playoffs? Was it when they beat Bama and Oregon with a 3rd string QB or was it last year when they didn't make the Playoff but "smokeshowed" Notre Dame in the Fiesta bowl? I'm confused...and Denis has it right, there were many other plays that decided that game. Like fumbling at the 1 yd line, and missing 2 FG's.
Oh, and bring on the "homer" comments, even though I played Bichigan ML, but I'm more than likely done with this convo. Bet with your wallet, not your heart!

Bama
Clemson
Washington
Wisconsin

Lol at this. Only way wisky gets in is if Washington doesnt. They still have to beat PSU too. If OSU was at 4 I could see them getting jumped but not when the committee has them at 2 and they just beat the #3. Don't forget about the money and traveling fans either. Idk if there is a better traveling fanbase than OSU or Bama right now, and money rules all; which is why I believe no matter what hapoens OSU and Bama won't be playing in a semifinal. They are hoping to get that matchup for the NC.
Assuming all these teams, besides OSU, win their Conference Championship, I see it like this:
1. Bama
2. Clemson
3. OSU
4. Washington or Wisconsin
Washington 1 loss Champ against USC vs Wisky 2 loss Champ against OSU & Bichigan. No way PSU gets in with loss to Pitt, unless Wash loses but I still don't see it. How greatly would it shake things up if Clemson amd Washington both lost.
