Any fight can be cancelled, even on the week of the fight. How many fights does Pinnacle have listed?? 5dimes lists a good amount BUT they wait until they go up at thegreek first and make a slight adjustment 1 way or another (and they USUALLY wait until the week of the fight except on big one's). There line wouldn't be the same if there was no greek though.

Another Olympic thread. As I stated, I love them. I have never been, and never will be, a champion of Pinnacle. Too many things I don't like about them to post here, but none has to do with monetary issues, just my personal preferences/issues. Olympic has everything I want and need. I think they are the best.

Actually, I am 37 days on the wagon. This is toned down version. I feel insulted that the fight dept at Olympic is the subject of such negative criticism. I don't mind criticism, but when the Joey The Joke bullshit starts flying, I think you guys are fuked up. Say whatever you want, but I believe I can speak for Spiro in that we are MORE than happy with the volume we are currently writing on the fights.


Thank you General and others that seem to know alot of work goes into this. No one wants a hand job here, but to criticize Olympic for doing something that no one else has the nerve or time or desire to do is sad. It's not rocket science, but it is work.

Boxing is a sport that is silly to bet on. Most fights are rigged to set up rematches and make money.

UFC is way more legit to bet on and you will at least get a run for your money/

Betting boxing though will eventually put you in the cleaners because the sure pops will go down because of fixes.

It's pretty easy to criticize someone from behind a computer screen. Personally, I think it's just jealousy. The fact is if someone could do Joey's job better than what he is, then he would have been replaced. He does his job just fine and is one of the smarter guys I have talked to on the net and certainly the smartest I have talked to off either forum (MW or RX).

I am not hammering you here. But that comment was pretty lame. To your comment , here's my challenge. Name 1 Bout that has definitive proof of being a fix, outside of speculation. Maybe a confession or an indictment. I can name at least 5/1 on other sports involving point shaving and things where there has been arrests and definitive proof.

In the last 15 yrs of betting/following boxing I can name one bout that I was aware of b4 it went. It was Bert Cooper and Richie Melito. And the FBI knew too. Cooper renegged, they never told Melito, and Melito got KTFO on a Vegas holyfield undercard. So outside of that gimme.......name one.
